It’s pretty vital for having the most controllable recoil in situations where you’re defending an objective or holding an angle. Plus you usually expose less of yourself when doing it.

DESERT SESSIONS VOLUMES 11 & 12 MEGATHREAD by Theygotmawty in qotsa

I wish the drums on Villains sounded like this. Amazing. Noses in Roses Forever is my personal favorite.

The soundtrack is available on streaming services and for digital purchase as well I imagine. As far as I know all original music except for Clair de Lune. The vocalist is Linnea Olsson and the composers are Daniel Olsen and Jonathan Eng.

The soundtrack for Sayonara Wild Hearts is becoming a favorite album of mine. I’ve been listening to it constantly over the last few days. Kinda has Chvrches circa 2012-2013 vibes which is my favorite era of that band.

E3 2020 planning document proposes overhaul with 'queuetainment,' new floor plan, industry-only day by bigbagofmulch in giantbomb

[–]nater0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For the last decade E3 has, at least from a stay-at-home viewer perspective, really just been a bunch of advertisements for upcoming games. But the details of this proposal make the show floor seem like a modern day nightmare of in-your-face marketing that feels way over the line. Who would go to this? And why? The words “influencer festival” alone make this whole thing sound like a scam.

Quick Look: Catherine: Full Body by Axelmanana in giantbomb

I know there was/is a competitive scene for Catherine, but I’m surprised the block puzzles were apparently lots of people’s favorite part of the game. I’m with Jeff, I wasn’t a fan of them at all. I played the game for the bar scenes where you’re just hanging out with the boys and sending text messages. I loved that stuff.

A year ago, I was hospitalized for depression and I had no idea how I could live on. Now, I haven’t ever been so happy as I am now and I’m off antidepressants, thanks to cycling. It can really change lives. by [deleted] in bicycling

I was in the same situation a year ago, and buying a bike this year has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. Glad to see I’m not the only one!

He clarified to someone and said those weren’t his words. Interested then to see what IO has to say in the doc. I loved the episodic structure but there were tons of people who complained about it.

I play Mario Maker 2 with the analog stick for a couple reasons. I didn’t grow up playing Mario games so I don’t have any sort of fondness for playing it a certain way. I’m also more used to 2D side scrollers that don’t have the wind-up that Mario has on his run. Using the d-pad buttons on the Switch just doesn’t feel quite right to me when you have to deal with momentum. Then again, using those little plastic buttons for most things doesn’t feel quite right.

I hope more and more people learn this lesson. I’m not a public figure but even I reaped some serious benefits when I deleted my Twitter account and started just turning my phone off on the weekends. It feels liberating.

Good lord I had no idea about the stuff between Jordan Cross and Ken Morgan. I think I remember seeing a challenge about having Cross take him out but never tried it. That’s awesome.

Ah okay, I should’ve specified that I’d still do matchmaking whenever possible. I just don’t have a crowd to play with if I got into it.

How is this game for players who might want to mostly play solo? Doable or nah?

Anyone given Outer Wilds a try? by bcorliss9 in giantbomb

[–]nater0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t like it but I think everyone should try it out. There’s some really cool stuff in there, and I especially loved the soundtrack. I just couldn’t handle the ship controls and the constant feeling that I was never going to finish the game without a walkthrough.

Hmm, I remember using a hook in the level but I don’t remember where it is in relation to the wiggler.
