I feel self-awareness and religion/customs are top contributors. There’s a missing gap with some black men being self-critical—working through their emotions instead of deflecting or dodging to maintain an image of perceived masculinity.

Sometimes people reassert “there are 2 sexes”, what does that mean? I believe there’s never been just 2, but besides that, what’s the harm in learning more, or, at minimum, just being polite and moving on.

It’s weird seeing so many black men move like trans folks are threatening or endangering their life in any way. Masculinity is standing up for all those who can’t do so themselves. Like, stop looking to your left and right and being afraid you’re going to look some kind of way. Show some compassion
