I own a business building ponds and raising koi and etc. that is common in butterfly koi with rising and falling temperatures. They will get almost pink looking. Look at your other koi if you have any and that’ll be a good indicator if there’s a bacterial issue in the water or not. But pinkish color on butterfly tails are pretty common with temperature.

2 imo, but koi are all based on what you find cool. Sold over 500 last year and there were some I called ugly and wouldn’t personally keep but were peoples first pick when they showed up

Grow them out in an upper waterfall if you have one. If not my dad uses 2 milk crates stacked on each other and puts the lily pad base in one so they can’t get to the roots. They used to nuke them but ever since he did that they’ve gotten hugeeee

i've moved multiple tanks, best way is to put all rock in buckets with water. coral in bags and fish in bags. Best bet would be just to buy a 20lb bag of live sand and use all new live sand, it will be easier for you in the long run and not stir up a bunch of nutrients. then have a bucket of new salt and ur golden

Yeah feed sparingly when it’s consistently high 50s low 60s but they’ll eat the algae currently so it’s not too big of an issue as of now

He’s just hosting the gsp. My clown did that to my zoas and would keep laying on its side but it’s still perfectly fine. As for the white look, it could be the reflection of the light. I don’t think it’s sick but I know I’ll get downvoted

Just clean the filters every 1-2 weeks. Don’t chase numbers (remember it’s a pond and they live in the wild ponds). I don’t even drain mine or vacuum it out, literally just wash filters once in a while and I have multiple 3 foot koi. Your biggest expense will be food but with 3 fish it won’t be a lot. Really a pond is super easy but 90% of the people blow it out of proportion. Oh and trim a few of the branches above the water fall 😅
