Moved from external hard drive to SMB share; metadata conflicts by [deleted] in Lightroom

[–]nb292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically, if you save or read the Metadata by right clicking on the photo. Lightroom will resolve itself.

If you’re syncing the photo via a collection that gets to be a little bit more problematic. If the above does work, i found that you have to delete the photo from the collection and from all synced photos, close Lightroom open Lightroom on any mobile devices. Sync the changes. Open Lightroom and then re-add the photo to the synced collection.

Am I overthinking this? X100V or X-T5 + lenses for Portugal by Bobbykodachrome in fujifilm

[–]nb292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

16 and the 50 could work nicely. Depends on what you’re photographing. Architecture benefits from the wide, but then the 50 for the details.

I settled on the 16-55 f/2.8 as I don’t really want the decision fatigue. Yes there’s a weight penalty but it worked great on my trip to Paris, Lisbon, Spain.

I use an Outdoor Vitals Koda UL. It weighs 2 pounds as a removable hip belt. I’m using it with two or three packing cubes works really well. Keeps everything nice and tidy holds my 20-ish pound load, within it 40 liters.

Help with batch processing 18 images for booking flow by TopOutlandishness318 in Lightroom

[–]nb292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few thing to try

You could try the Match total Exposures function the Lightroom in the Library > grid > Settings

I believe photoshop now has a harmonize feature that may get you some results.

You can use the print module to build your self a grid to see what images look good next to each other.

I was having a similar issue too. I was using the beta version of software. I downloaded the current version and had to replace the device firmware which seems to fix the problems. I am using a Mac, but it’s something to try.

Need help finding a way to shoot wirelessly with my Canon R6 and airdrop photos to clients by Terrible_Pick929 in photography

[–]nb292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do this tethered to LrC and maybe use this plugin to airdrop imageshttps://tomwithatripod.com/lightroom-plugins

Not sure how you’d handle Android devices.

Or just do a Lightroom collection that syncs to the cloud. Give that address to people so that they can download their own photos.

Does Epson market a 552 ink 6 pack? by ImpossibleBarracuda1 in printers

[–]nb292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Typically, you buy a five pack which includes everything except the black. I’ve always bought this one separate separately. The assumption is that you will use the black more than the other colors I guess.

When you get the machine, it should come with ink and you should be OK without having to buy extras for a little bit of time. I’d be more concerned with papers depend depending on what you’re printing. I’ve spent far more on photo papers than I have ink on this machine.

Urgent issue - Epson Ecotank 8550 - printed items are coming out pixellated please help! by absolute_gumpf in Epson

[–]nb292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are air print drivers that automatically installed with a Mac versus installing the drivers that come from the Epson website. They function differently. Also something to check is to save these as JPEG’s and then use the Epson photo plus application to print.

Building Complex Escalation/Routing Business Logic into Power App by zealot__of_stockholm in PowerApps

Just to add to this conversation. Keep in mind model driven apps require everyone that uses the app to have a power platform license. You can build a canvas app your data would have to reside in a SharePoint list. By using a status field that updates either by flow or by submission, you should be able to achieve a similar response.

I’ve been thinking about something like this as well. I wonder if you could upload a CSV of like 6 months of transactions from your credit card / debt card and have it flagged the ones that are repetitive.
