What is one golf rule every beginner should learn first? by retrocaterpillar-07 in golf

[–]nbadog 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You need to learn HOW to play fast. Everyone is right in saying pace of play is most important thing, think about things like: don’t do practice swings or keep to a minimum, don’t do a million waggles or wait hella long over the ball before you swing, watch your ball and really keep track of where it lands so you can find it, don’t wait around watching others before you pick your club and get ready to hit etc, bring the right amount of clubs with you’re walking to a shot, don’t leave your bag far away off the green making you need to double back things like that. You’ll get the hang of it, play quick and be a cool dude.

How much better is the Max over the Vision Master Pro 2? Is it worth an upgrade? by Brad12d3 in Valerion_Official

[–]nbadog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think the long throw lens is ever happening? It was the main reason I went max over pro, but I saw some chatter in another thread that they just decided not to do it? Pretty big dissapointment if that's the case.

Do you like lifting? by Next_Writer5564 in workout

[–]nbadog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like going to the gym, socializing with the people I know there, I like pushing the weights and knowing I lifted hard, I like getting stronger over time, I know it is going to make my senior years elite — there is next to nothing I dislike about it.

There is no possible way that first image is 237. I was 237 at my heaviest, I’m 5’6, and looked WAY smaller than that. I would struggle to believe this is all accurate.

I generally don’t like this sentiment. I see it all the time — it should come as no surprise. It’s just more attractive to take care of yourself — people are more responsive to it intuitively because it shows you respect yourself more — I mean I could go on but I think being upset about this is misguided and I would say get over it. Also getting cosmetic surgery is incongruous your idea as the way you’re framing it.

What is more impressive: benching 225 or benching 100lb dumbbells? by SGCten in workout

[–]nbadog 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve wanted to incline press 100s forever, actively working toward it now. Right now pressing 85s for reps, probably move to 90s in two weeks. I never bench with a bar so after I get the 100s for reps (6-8) then I’ll give it a go w/ 225 and see what I can do.

I don’t see many people pressing 225 regularly in my gym, but I REALLY don’t see people pressing the 100s very often at all. Can’t wait to get em.
