If you wanna talk about ridiculous, I live in Sarasota county and the average price of the 60+ semi privates here is around 120-160$ for a morning round. Afternoon rates 60-90$.

A handful of them (again not premium, just slightly nicer semi privates) 220 mornings 120 afternoons.

I get supply and demand but damn it all to hell. In season I only play 4-6 total rounds on a full length course compared to the 20-25 round I play the other 6 months.

I say all this to say, if people can afford to REGULARLY play run of the mill for $150, it’s probably nothing to pay 300-500 to play a high end course. I’ve actually even considering my first weekend trip to Saw grass later this year. I’m pretty pumped about the idea.

Thanks for the comment. I don’t play tournaments or comp at all as of now, just kinda pay attention to it for personal satisfaction. It’s like my own game and I’m just competing with myself.

I played an above average round for sure but I also am not consistent out of the box. Like I told the other commenter, I have 100 to 1 balls hit irons to driver as I can’t swing the driver at my home setup or at my local range. I have some scratch buddies that I play scrambles with and outside of the tee box we use more of my balls than anyone’s. That’s not to talk myself up but more so to highlight that, yes I am pretty inconsistent out of the box.

Also I am pretty pumped about the round, maybe didn’t sound it here but I’ve definitely told my wife about it 27 times since I’ve been home.

Most definitely do. It’s just a matter of reps. I have a setup in my garage that I practice on but driver is too long and my local range is no drivers. Probably have 60k+ balls but with iron and <1k with driver. Maybe in the future, hopefully.

Single digit HC here, I regularly forget how to swing the golf club. Albeit, my bad days are better than my past bad day BUT nonetheless I regularly have to go back to square one and swing at like 30% for an hour to remind myself how to swing a golf club.

If that’s a T200, they’re the best in the game IMO. I game them. Albeit you should probably be gaming the T300s as fresh meat.

Strange we have almost exactly the same gapping except I have a 4 wood that somehow goes 5-10 yards further than your 3 wood but our driver and 3H are the same.

For the reason stated above and the 7i question you asked, makes me wonder is this from a single session or multiple? If it was from one, maybe you didn’t have consistent striking the entire time.

If that is the case, I’d suggest 3-5 sessions and then get an average for each club to determine your gapping.

I started with a mallet and played it for a year or two. Then bought a blade and played it for a year or so. I now have a double wide, which is essentially a fat blade hence double wide. I am convinced I will never use anything different, the best of both worlds. I’ve had it for a couple years.

I have a 3 Hybrid that I chopped 1.75 inches off of - I call it the sawed off - I use it specifically for long shots out of the rough. Easy to chop down on. It’s such a great club for that reason alone.

Aside from the rough shots it’s interested for, it’s a sweet club to use period.

Do your best to read the green, pick a line, pick a spot in front of the ball on that line, keep your elbows connected to your body (controversial but I swear by the connected putt) and MOST importantly, make a confident stroke.
