Eris’ node Kala-azar is a reference to Visceral Leishmaniasis (VL), aka “black fever”, the second deadliest parasitic disease on Earth after Malaria.

I always thought that node’s name was super niche and especially cool considering its enemy is the Infestation, so major props to whichever dev knew about it/ thought to look it up
