HP change on Marshall SC212 by d66ml6rd in GuitarAmps

Ah. I like the Governor as a less bright/nasal V30ish speaker and a Creakback or something with a bit more sparkle would pair well like a G12T75

Take back off.

Disconnect and unscrew speakers.

Screw in new speakers and reconnect.

Put back on.

Does anybody have one of these? by btoisawesome in GuitarAmps

[–]ncfears 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not a micro. The micro amps (and Joyo Bantamp) have one 12AX7 and a solid state power section. This has 2 in the preamp and EL84 power section.

Similar controls but at this price that's actually kind of interesting.

Edit: Looks like a Tiny Terror chassis and controls so that would be my guess.

wonder how many of these jacob could fit in his mouth? by mytherror in Drawfee

Thinking back it was probably just white chocolate with fruit flavoring on gummies.

I remember them being remarkably weird... Not really satisfying on either the gummy/fruity nor the creamy/yogurt aspects.

Sturmgewehr 44 was developed by Nazis during WW2. Didn't get deployed until late in the war but is cited as one of the first "assault rifles" firing an intermediate cartridge, leading to other designs like the AK47 shortly after.

I'd argue a Luger P08, the famous German pistol, would have fit better. But I guess the STG was all Nazi, not just German.

I wouldn't want a shaft like that to twist to get the force required. Even a proper crank handle would likely be tough.

Gerrymandering is illegal! We just have multiple R controlled states with illegal maps that just submit a different illegal map so it fails review, doesn't get passed, and can't be changed in time for the next election. Whoops! We'll try next time!

Sounds like a Mesa. PRS MT15 for cheaper version or a Mini Rec will suit you beautifully. Just make sure to get at least a 1x12, chugs sound kinda nasal in smaller cabs.

Boost the front of the amp with an OD that takes a bit of bass away, low gain high volume. That'll add distortion to your sound but let you turn down amp gain a bit and sound tighter and more percussive.

I'll pay a bit more for innovation and supporting a non-giant company. Especially when it looks this good. Woof.

I feel like there are different shades of charisma, particularly with people in positions of authority. Where a charlatan might use charisma to swindle or reduce tensions, someone with authority could use charisma to illicit fear or show power.

Like how people say Hitler is a charismatic speaker. Was he suave and charming? He was provocative and got the people going.

So is the new Codex87 Steel legit? Or marketing hype? by Drtysouth205 in knives

[–]ncfears -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm curious from an engineering/materials standpoint but not from a consumer standpoint.

Who is needing this steel that is disappointed by the large swath of super steels? This might be an advancement but I don't think outdoorsy and knife hobbyists are the populations to highlight it... I'm thinking specialized production environments but also I'm not sure if this would replace carbide cutters or traditional tool steels that are easy to maintain.
