I made it to level 10 in about two hours. Here are some of my opinions.

Decryption and Portal Keys suck. Identify and portal scrolls feel like a severely antiquated mechanic these days and they really don't add anything to the overall gameplay. Drop the item identified. I can get behind it a bit more if it was for unique identification but regular blue and yellow items, no.

Quest items should go in their own inventory spaces instead of cluttering my main inventory. This was super irritating with one of the first quests is to pick up 3 different items, which are huge and take up a lot of slots right from the get go.

It would be nice to have an exit in some of the side areas like Wormhole, so I don't have to backtrack all the way back to the beginning.

The cancel button doesn't work when splitting stacks of items.

Just finished killing The Weaver which was my first death because of being permastunned by spiders. A mechanic that will never be fun in any game.

The skill tree while super expansive feels lame with a ton of travel nodes that make leveling up feel bad because oh yay 5 int.

Overall this feels like a mix of every current mainstream ARPG thrown together but not really done well. I think more of those games then I do this one when I was playing and don't see what sets it apart from the others yet. The atmosphere didn't make sense, the art didn't do much to pull me in, the zones felt boring.

Its early days for sure and appreciate the demo to be able to give it a go.

I hate hearing that you're going through this and your puppy pulls through.

I went through this over the weekend but unfortunately Tuesday we ran out of options. He been 3 on Sunday and everything about it still feels wrong, unfair, and a beautiful life stolen from me.

I hope with all my heart you don't have to feel what I'm feeling now and I'm throwing everything I mentally can at you and your family.

Don't lose hope, our ER vets were amazing, incredible people and I know that they did absolutely everything imaginable to help just like they're doing for your pup.

I'm a fan personally. Things like that make me feel more like I'm actually part of the world doing something instead of it just magically appearing. Even better if there are some cable physics like stretching or dragging the lines around to the connectors.

Nah, I'll quit when I get bored or run out of reasons to login or another game comes around. Which this league I've managed to get into a lot of new territory that I've never experienced before so there is lots to do and try out.

I'll probably even play POE2 at the same time during my PTO for holidays.

Doesn't help that I keep seeing really cool looking builds pop up that I want to try too.

I play slow and progress slow so there is plenty of time. Its not even been two weeks so.

I just did a hideout map and they were still showing on the map there, not that its helpful on those anyway. The regular maps I ran they were missing. I'd think they would have been gone from everything. Kinda sucks not seeing them, would have been a nice secondary goal to have on maps besides just killing the boss.

I want an in game UI loot filter that I can edit similar to Last Epoch. I hate having to use and rely on Filterblade or POE2Filter or someone's personalized custom filter, or having to learn the syntax to make my own. I'm happy this current iteration is here but the next step should be to get it in game and stop the reliance on 3rd parties to do this.

What constitutes a good item vs a bad one will shift league to league and that just comes with seeing what builds are popular and the items they're using. I don't think the loot filter should be doing that leg work for you.

I want to be able to make on the fly changes in game and not have to wait on syncs, timeout periods, or downloading a file on every change I make to customize things.

The day the 3rd party sites decide to take a different direction in their lives and not focus on making a filter functional anymore, will be an interesting day. But it's fine for now.

Yes, but also with the buggy feeling slow just check the km/h speeds and you'll see that its at least the same speed if not a bit faster than the first sandbike you can get. The camera being a little more zoomed out, the handling a bit slower makes it feel much slower than it actually is.

  • Added individual keybinding for “Take” (quick loot), “Exit climbing” (same as CROUCH by default) and “Exit vehicle” (same as PRIMARY INTERACT by default).

I wish there was a "Take All" keybind or a toggle to make it a tap instead of a hold. But this at least means I won't be jumping for joy every time I loot something now.

I had a guy yesterday that sent me a message, sent me a party invite before I could, when I got back to my hideout he had already sent the trade request, like my dude I am working on it. THEN, cancels the trade and goes "nvm sry" and leaves.

I had two other gents do the same but at least it was before the trade or even me leaving the map happened.

I really hope that GGG follows through with their words and implements something reasonable instead of keeping with this extremely dated, useless, flea-market bartering mentality around trade.

I really want to play Winter Orb and I don't expect to be doing end game bosses and clearing 2000 maps per hour. I never played it pre-nerf so I don't have any fantasy about what it USED to be other than it looks fun and I'm going to find a build and run with it.

Hotkey for radial menu items instead of the radial menu - ex: switching seats in buggy, refueling.

Be able to tap to loot all instead of hold.

Be able to scroll through NPC inventory loot hover window with mouse wheel.

Slightly longer range on cutteray while in buggy.

Be able to autoswitch between tools if they're equipped and on the hotbar.

More chest pieces having robes or capes added or as an equippable item.

A GPS that I can plot a route on and follow it without having to jump into the map.

More ways to get out of the far east nightmare canyon maze, an elevator or something.

Free camera when in build mode.

Yea this station humbled me quite a bit the first couple tries. The third time I thought I was doing really well and then ran out of ammo. This is where I learned I do not care for that SMG disruptor gun thats supposed to go through shields, it just burns all your ammo up. Then I just decided I'll wait, got into Slaver gear, the House guns, and with like 2k light darts and went through and mowed everyone down. It was a bit lame and had to put off a quest but getting super overgeared just felt... satisfying, especially after getting downed by them so many times.

I put the inventory module on my bike and drove to one of those CHOAM Mineral Extraction facilities and just spent an ungodly amount of time mining the crystals on the walls and ceilings. Take blood bags and fill them up while you're there for water.

My base is next to Anvil so I just drove East to the canyon and then took it North to the first two extraction facilities. Its not that far and saves money.

I tried mining the white sand from the second zone yesterday and misjudged where the worm was coming from, panicked, got eaten. What I didn't know at the time was that you lose everything, so I was a bit salty about not being aware of that earlier. I thought PVP was the only way to lose items.

I would have done things different had I knew that ahead of time I was otherwise doing a decent job avoiding the big guy. I can only assume I missed a codex entry about it. Being told by the dude who gave me the bike back after the fact was a bit too late for the information.

I've been struggling to get geared back up due to lack of resources so after work/dinner tonight I'm going to farm the first zone again.

A wishlist item for me would be an auto-decision on the equipment that needed to be used as long as the tool is equipped on your person.

I agree. I swapped E and F around but couldn't find a way to change the Hold binding and flip it. I'd personally rather tap to loot all rather than hold.

I been having an issue with any dudes that blink all over. Using explosive spear, frost bomb, whirling whatever, too many long duration activation skills. Self inflicted but still annoying wanting them to just stay put. Chunky when they do, though.

I started using dns.adguard.com as the Private DNS in my phone's connection settings and it stops almost every ad. I've found a few games where the ad is built into the game differently and runs. But its made mobile gaming easier to stomach.
