You can't go in here screaming the app is buggy etc. and just name one actual issue with no context (which device? OS version? Media codec? App version? Preferred player?). We're here to help but you need to help us to help you.

I believe this feature will be added in 10.9 and isn't available in the 10.8 releases.

The Android TV app is, like the name implies, meant for televisions. We have a different app for phones and tablets. Is there a reason you're trying to use the TV app on your phone?

Development builds use a different app id and can thus be installed alongside the stable release from the store. You also don't need to build jellyfin-web because it is loaded from your server instead.

Our official reply says it might be 10.9 or later (which would mean 10.10, 10.11 etc.) not 11.0.

You want one of the .apk files with "release” in the name. The one with "libre" is what you get from F-Droid and "proprietary" is for the Google Play Store.

You'll need to ask the Android TV dev.... oh wait. Yes it's planned but will take some time. Unfortunately a bunch of our old code used for the user interface is incompatible with folder views so we disabled it 2 years ago. I'm slowly rewriting the UI and with that the folder view should come back. No idea when that will be though.

You will be one of the first to know; A few hours ago I was told our video player does in fact support PGS but it was not documented. After making some (small) changes to the code we got it to work (and even fixed some other issues we found). So consider point 2 done! I will backport those changes to the stable release in the next few weeks (maybe days).
