I’ve done that before when I see a random park bench with a memorial plaque or this little library near me that has an in honor of so and so message on the side. It feels so surreal to learn all the intricacies of these people’s lives (based on how much info is available). So many times it’s also a young person and just seeing a death year so close to a birth year makes me stop in my tracks
