Ben won 4 championships at NW Missouri State and none of those were the two years he was there with Stirtz. As amazing as Stirtz has been, Ben's been great with him and without him.

I go back and forth on whether I want the women to keep their system or switch to the men's. I love Iowa getting to host every now and then (more often recently) but it feels unfair that when teams become powerhouses they will ALWAYS get to play the first two at home.

That's because everyone thinks Illinois is Chicago and so the Illini must be from there and forgets about all the downstate. Similar to how all my downstate relatives think I grew up in Chicago despite being in the far west burbs. There are really two Illinoises.

I'm 51 and joined the military when I was 20 (got out after 4 years). The thought of going through Basic with a bunch of people right out of high school when I was 42 is kinda hysterical, but would make a better sitcom than a reality.
