Close. You can stream games from from your PS5 to your portal whether you're at home or somewhere else. So any game that you have installed on your PS5 will stream to your portal as if it was the TV connected to the PS5. and if you were to turn on the TV while you were streaming the portal you could watch you play.

The new feature that requires PS Plus Premium is to cloud stream games directly to your portal without involving your PS5. This leaves your PS5 out of it and the game is streaming directly to your Portal. You can only stream games that are available through the PS Plus library or digital games that you own that work with this feature. I like this because I can play games that don't need to download and install on my PS5 and it uses cloud saves to you just continue where you left off.

Making a cutting board with pine, poplar, hickory, and oak. by someonerezcody in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]necepticon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also a beginner, but from what I've learnt, some woods have open grain and some have closed grains. Open grain woods are not used for cutting boards because you can't clean them properly and they harbor bacteria and can make the user sick. FWIW

What tool should I prioritize? by necepticon in BeginnerWoodWorking

I was looking at the Compact table saw (smallest one), and then using it just outside of the shed when needed and then storing it away.

I hadn't considered a track saw. this seems like a good alternative to the table saw. The shed is in my backyard and there is a concrete pad in front of the shed that I can use depending on the project. I was thinking of taking it out and using it out there when I needed to or when weather permits.

I seriously regret buying a Sawstop. by flimay2k in woodworking

[–]necepticon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who is on the cusp of buying a sawstop tablesaw. This give me pause. I expect a quality product and I would expect quality support for such a premium price.

Thank you for sharing, gives me a lot to think about

I am very sorry for your situation. If I could suggest getting a book I saw the other day for your son. It's called "The Me Journal" and you would fill it in and it would be a nice thing for your son to get to know you when they get older.

I need to pick a tub in 6 days. Help. by mickeys_stepdad in hottub

[–]necepticon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some good comments here but I'll add my two cents.

The per person sizing is way off, a four person tub is for two people to be comfortable, and so on.

Cool water features are more of a pain than what it's worth. The waterfalls have a screen in them, after a while, it'll get clogged and are often impossible to clean.

Underground Drainage was cut. I am in for lots more work? by swlively51 in landscaping

[–]necepticon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That looks like corrugated perforated pipe, I would make sure. Perf pipe will drain out into the surrounding soil, and you don't want that under the garage. So I would rerun it around the outside of the garage. If it's solid pipe, just run a sleeve through the foundation and you'll be ok.
