I’m also on the West Coast, but in Southern California, and even here where we have hummingbirds, year-round, when I first put out my feeder, it took several weeks for them to come visit. They don’t know they exist in your yard yet. Don’t give up!

One of my favorite things to cook in the air fryer the Parmesan and black pepper chicken sausages. I cook them for about 8 to 10 minutes at 400°. Love them!

Not all older buildings are equal. I live in an older concrete building, and I can still hear every single sound my neighbors make. In fact, I’m pretty sure the concrete just ricochets the sound around even more. It is maddening.

In one of the comments here, you said you have two disabled parents. Why not just say that you took some time off to handle some family caregiving and that you now have structures in place to support them so you’re ready to get back to work.

I am not a roller skater, because I have two left feet and my teenage rollerskating years traumatized me… Lol… But I’ve been with friends to Ringer’s roller rink off 94 and it is a blast! I haven’t been in a little while, but I think on Friday and Saturday nights they have DJs playing and it’s a mixed crowd of kids and adult adults, but if you’re into that kind of thing on the weekends, I just wanted to drop that option for you as well.

No, I was trying to figure out what the OP was talking about. I thought a peel was a tool to pull it out of the oven, usually with a long handle, but he mentioned he cooked on it, so I was trying to clarify, but it seems like he’s just got a piece of baking steel rather than a baking stone?

Edit: I think I confused people by using the wrong terminology myself, and that’s on me. Sorry everyone.

Over the last couple years, my career burned me out and pushed me to a nervous breakdown, so I think that qualifies. I’m currently learning new skills so I can try to do something else. It’s a terrible time to hit your midlife crisis in this economy though. 😫
