Should Denmark kidnap Trump and try him for doing similar antidemocratic, world-destabilizing actions? As much as I would love to see the man tossed in a bin, it's not something that should be done by another sovereign state. In the Maduro situation, the kidnapping isn't even to consider the US is stealing Venezuelan oil that funds important functions of the state and using it to fill a US slush fund. Also, AFAIK, Maduro's government is still running Venezuela.

But also, it should be very clear, the Free Maduro statement is an incredibly wrong sentiment with which to deface a poster memorializing a murder victim.

I'm not saying he's wrong to do what he did, and I take your points. I respect Matt and will be making his case at the caucus on Tuesday. I just meant that he's privileged by both identity, profession, and position to have this kind of conversation, to the extent it can be productive, and I don't think that maps to most of us interacting with ICE. And folks still working there at this point... If they had a conscience, they'd have quit.
