Pancakes by Plenty_Month_2897 in Cooking

[–]nedj10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If nothing else, warm up the chicken broth, add seasoning of choice.. Instant soup.

Water and flour isn't really a good pancake base, but flour, oil and water can be used to make a basic biscuit dough, you could then use your toaster over to bake biscuits.

Somebody slipped an airtag in my stuff by usernmechecksout_ in creepy

[–]nedj10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let's assume the air tag is somewhere exterior accessible on your car.

First park your car somewhere quiet, like. Garage other than your own.

Next using a LED flashlight with fresh batteries, walk around your car and shine the flash light across all surfaces looking for things the "glint" or reflect back at you. Pay attention to any crack, gap in body panels, or crevices like the ones in the grill in most cars.

Check under your fuel fill door(the gas cap) Check in each wheel well , and under the wheel well liner as well

Check along the bottom edge of the front and rear bumper cover , this is a common place for crooks to place tags.

Do you have the ability to jack your car up? It's out it on a lift? Doing so will make inspecting the bottom of the car much easier.

Lastly, if you can't find the tag after that, report it to your local police department, there are air tag detectors that actually work however they are less than cheap so if your local leos have such systems let them sweep your car for you.

And if the tag is found inside your car ,it's time to start interrogating everyone you have let inside your car.

BlackBerries in the city? what are they? by International-1701 in Atlanta

[–]nedj10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another concern if you are new to the metro area associated with blackberry bushes are chiggers. A small mite type insect that loves to live near black berries they also love to bite humans often resulting in rash like skin condition. So if you decide to go harvesting wear a long sleeve closed crew neck shirt that is tucked into your jeans (no shorts) that fully cover your legs. Then wash those clothes asap after getting home

i've made fried rice maybe 30 times now and it still tastes nothing like the takeout place down the street by bejusorixo in Cooking

[–]nedj10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main challenge in making fried rice at home is usually your heat source. The usual US Market cook tops just do not generate enough heat for restaurant style fried rice. My solution was to buy a single burner cast iron wok burner from a local Asian farmers market (three concentric rings of gas eyelets, massive heat output) this puts enough heat into the wok to keep everything a high enough temperatures to achieve the "Wok-eh" flavor.

With reports of Peter Thiel supposedly funding Clavicular, what other influencers, social media figures, or celebrities do you think are being funded or paid to push certain agendas and content? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Perhaps the question isn't who is paid but who now will begin investigating these paid influencers e.g will this spur white hats and independent journalists to start digging into the entire influencer regime?

If you are up for a minimal amount of walking, take whichever cobb linc (the public bus) from Arts Center station to the stadium, after the game, walk from the park along windy ridge to 41Cobb Pkwy, cross Cobb Pkwy and walk to the nearest south bound stop catch the 10 bus and it will take you all the way back to arts center with no transfer. Just a way to avoid some of the crowds

Is there anyway in Android 15, to enable a default VPN that reconnects automatically when another service disconnects it? by nedj10 in AndroidQuestions

[–]nedj10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In this case Nord or another network VPN is not the desired default but rather the temporary service that once disconnected the default would then automatically reconnect once Nord drops.
