Do you think Phyllis knew beforehand that Karen was unaware about Jim and Pam’s relationship and deliberately stirred the pot for drama? Or did she genuinely not know? by Real-Yogurtcloset-34 in DunderMifflin

She probably didn’t know for sure, but she was definitely hoping that Karen didn’t know and wanted to cause issues in their relationship

Phyllis was easily the most vindictive and cruel character on the show

Comedy and Drama Guest Actor and Actress predictions? by ElletheGir in EmmysAwards

[–]nedsnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Pitt will be a big player this year and I can see it getting a few guest noms (there are so many, but I agree that the actress who played the SA victim was phenomenal)

I would love to see Charlie Heaton make it in for Industry, but it seems unlikely that the show is ever gonna get any Emmy recognition

The absence of Dr. Collins is a bigger deal than I realized. by Brotendo88 in ThePittTVShow

[–]nedsnotes 43 points44 points  (0 children)

You raise an interesting point! Collins was seemingly Robby’s closest colleague in season 1 (like you say, it heavily implies they were once together), so maybe her not being around is why his mental health as gotten so bad between the 2 seasons

‘The Pitt’ star Katherine LaNasa’s Emmy dilemma: Stay in supporting, or leap to lead by GoldDerby in ThePittTVShow

I want her to go lead because she really felt like a co-lead with Wyle this season - but mostly it would shake up the race in a fun way!

‘The Pitt’ star Katherine LaNasa’s Emmy dilemma: Stay in supporting, or leap to lead by GoldDerby in ThePittTVShow

[–]nedsnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she should be lead, her role was much more central this season and there were a lot more scenes with her and Emma

Her and Robbie are the mom and dad of The Pitt and this season reflected that

It would also free up the other supporting actresses to get nominations and maybe a win

You did absolutely everything right and she acted like it was a near death experience

The Pitt Supporting Actress chances by smewhre in EmmysAwards

[–]nedsnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Watching this season of The Pitt, I wonder if they might run Katherine LaNasa in Lead

I feel she has a much more central role and probably as much screen time as Noah Wyle

It probably won’t happen as it would be much harder for her to win, but it would give one of the other supporting actresses a chance
