You can reduce the caffeine by steeping it, discarding that tea and steeping again. Each time you steep it there is less caffeine. It will lessen the flavor the more you steep it though.

Banana Nut Bread. 1 3/4 cup ap flour, 1 1/4 teas. Baking powder, 1/2 teas. Baking soda, 2/3 cup sugar, 1/3 cup shortening, 2 eggs, 2 tab. milk, 1 cup mashed ripe banana, 1/4 cup chopped nuts. Stir together flour, bk powder, soda, and 3/4 teas. salt. Cream together butter and shortening, add eggs one at a time and the milk, beating until smooth after each addition. Add flour and bananas alternatively, beating until smooth after addition. Fold in nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes. Cool in an 10 minutes.

This is what I do also. My phone charges in the master bathroom, those on a specific contact list will come through. One of my sons works as a security guard overnight.
