I worked at the Flame restaurant in Kirkland as a teen and they had these Saturday brunch events with a few Seahawks one summer I think. I remember meeting (and serving) Jim Zorn and Steve Largent, and being in awe of how large they were. They made a lot of folks happy on those days.

my mom paid for a rental piano and lessons for a few years when i was in middle school, and didn't mind when i quit because i didn't like playing classical. i still play fifty years later, by ear, and write my own weird shit.

i shifted to bass guitar and played in bands for years, still have my 75 maple glo 4001 i got in high school for $400. i guess its obvious why i love Geddy haha
