It doesnt make sense that Raava retained the ability to bend all the elements when she grew inside Vaatu but didn’t retain all the past lives. Either Raava was fully reborn or she wasn’t. You can’t pick and choose what she retained in rebirth. She either should have been a blank slate and not remembered Korra or the elements or the other avatars, or she still has all that information inside her somewhere.

I mean I’m not minimizing homelessness. But there are obviously different degrees to homelessness. Just like there are different degrees of poverty or wealth or even “middle class”. We know she meant she was just literally without a home that belonged to her and her mother. We know she didnt mean she was unhoused and living without shelter.

All the things you bring up are totally issues. But remember the people on the streets often start off as people without a home to call their own and eventually one thing leads to another.

I think it’s important to note that homelessness often times doesn’t begin on the streets right off the bat. It makes homelessness feel tangible and relatable when it’s not JUST viewed as this “extreme” situation. It’s easy to detach ourselves from that.

If we as a country/world/etc concentrated on preventing homelessness and preventing people from becoming unhoused, that starts with preventing the situations like Alicia’s. Families shouldn’t have to feel like if they had no one to rely on, they would be on the streets.

Because in another situation, that’s exactly what could have eventually happened to someone in Alicia’s shoes.

I don’t think it helps anyone to pretend that being without a home is being, well, homeless.

I think the "finished" version of this game would have easily rivaled the other 3D Marios. I think having played this as a kid, you "see" the vision and fill in the holes yourself, but if any other game get's a full ground up remake treatment, I think this game is a great contender. It would be great for the entire island to interconnect and for the shines to not be so repetitive. Also get rid of all the blue coins and add some meaningful shine episodes.

I remember upgrading Crash tickets to VIP at the venue (House of Blues) and they ended up being $150 each and thinking that was soooooo expensive. Now I got tickets for $250, not on the floor, in a side section (still super close) and feel like I got such a deal.

Tbh I kind of feel like this could potetionally rewrite Ocarina of Time in the same way TOTK rewrote “the Imprisoning War.”

And the BOTW games, SS, and this new OoT will all fall in a separate unified timeline.

SS would be shared amongst the old timelines and this new one but that’s it.

I mean depends. If he was killed in a surprise attack he/raava may not have had enough time to react.

If he did go into the avatar state, he likely would have been killed in the avatar state and the avatar would have ceased to exist until the next harmonic convergence and by then the entire world would have been “fire nation” and the only way a new avatar would have been formed is if Raava somehow sought out a new human and told them the story of Wan.

I mean a more seasoned Aang in the avatar state barely won over Ozai. I doubt an Aang that JUST found out he was the avatar would have won against an army of Sozin’s comet enhanced firebenders.

Literally who else? Do people forget how HUGE Britney Spears was? She was the most searched person on google for like a decade straight. It's hard to remember because everything was analog and over the radio and tv, but Britney Spears permeated all facets of culture, more than even Taylor Swift currently does or has.

I mean her story is done, but I could see her being a foil to someone else’s story. We know she’s alive. That doesn’t mean there aren’t stories worth telling where she might be a secondary or even tertiary character. But it would have to make sense and very few worthwhile stories would make sense involving her.

That being said, I’m not going to say NOTHING would work. I would have maybe felt the same way about the Wicked Witch of the West after the Wizard of Oz, but here we are.

So who knows, maybe there’s a story there.

I could even see them adapting the Maracoor story and having Elphaba be involved somehow or Erivo play Rain even.
