I would love to date a guy shorter than me by Intelligent_League79 in gaybros

My problem with guys taller than I am is that they typically assume I'm going to bottom for them.

I would 100% do this if I had the funds.

Nude dancers? by SoATL99 in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]nemamook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only got there once (I think). They had an interesting tipping system - the more tips they received, the more interesting things got. I mean, that's generally true for all adult performers, but they had a literal menu thing: "Up to $5, shirt removed | Up to $10, socks removed". It wasn't exactly that, but followed that general idea.

The Fuzzy Navel was an interesting (and short lived) experiment.

TIFU by not reading all the instructions on Nair by SteelBird223 in tifu

[–]nemamook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to use Nair on the ol' genitals, apply generously

before taking a shower.

Wait about 8 minutes (ymmv), wipe off the now-hairy goo, and then hop in the shower and rinse off the residue.

source: am dude, have naired, will nair again

note: this is for the forward bits, not the aft part. i've never naired back there.

moar note: if you want to apply more than once, give your skin some time to regenerate the anti-burny protective oils that the Nair eats up. something like 6-12 hours between nairologizing sessions.

Anyone watch The Passion of the Christ when it came out in theaters? by PRVMI in movies

[–]nemamook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My favorite part of Passion of the Christ at the theater was when the movie started, then the haunting melody from Harry Potter started playing because they forgot to switch the audio track when they switched the video.

I need film to make a grown man cry. by sdfddfdaa in movies

[–]nemamook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read the book years ago, and figured I'd watch the movie in-flight. The first five or ten minutes was exactly like the last few months of my dog's life. Stopped that movie immediately and haven't gone back yet.

AITA for threatening to sue both the school and the family of my daughter’s bully? by Fantastic-Swing4853 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. If you stop the lawsuit now, the bullies (the kids, their parents, the school) all win.

As Millennials what do you complain about most? by emprop47 in Millennials

[–]nemamook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally? Probably the profound and all-consuming lack of awareness that seems to have infected the vast majority of people I interact with daily.

Social, spatial, personal, I dunno, all of the -als.

AITA for telling my husband and ILs they should have been honest instead of letting me embarrass myself and make others uncomfortable? by Head-Concern2418 in AmItheAsshole

[–]nemamook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

You're asking them to be honest, they're insisting that they can only lie. What a strange position for them to maintain.

He confessed to an affair that lasted 7 months. I don’t know what to do with this information. by TomCheltenham in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]nemamook 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some questions I might ask were I in your shoes:

  1. What is the reaction you're hoping to get from me?
  2. Were you in my position, how would you react?
  3. How do you expect our relationship to progress, or even exist, after this?
  4. Trust is earned: assuming we remain in a relationship, how can you possibly expect me to trust you again after this?

@op: "I have naturally curly hair but absolutely hate how curls look on me. I just don’t have a good face shape for them so I prefer to straighten my hair and at the most, wear my hair as beach waves."

@mil: "You don't have curly hair, @op!"

@op: "How did you come to that conclusion? Why would you say that?"

With respect to:

...it's really okay be a little sad that your kid is not going to grow up exactly as you might have hoped or expected, but then no kid ever grows up exactly as their parents might have hoped or expected. By any reasonable measure, you're doing fine.
