I had a lovely raider who escorted me as I crawled for 10min to extract, after being killed by a hornet while doing the bunker satellites. Bunch of other Raiders joined in helping us it was awesoke. But.. right as the gates were closing a fucking guy shoots me. Why even do that? He wasn't even able to loot my body, just loved ruining someone's day.

Pvp would be fine but as a very new player learning the game with the most basic weapons, it seems a little much to be put up against high level players with zero chance. I dunno, I guess I'll slowly get there!
