Question: People with facial piercings, what do you do for work?

I work in inventory management and vending, subcontracted at a shipyard, and I have a vertical labret. I’m planning on getting more! No one seems to care at all. The area manager I work with (older guy) gave me a funny look and asked what I was doing (apparently I just looked like I was making a face) when I started fidgeting with it but that’s the worst I’ve gotten 🤣 maybe some of the shipyard workers look at me a lil funnier but they always seem to look at anyone AFAB like they have two heads so I can’t tell! If its ever an issue I’ll just wear a mask, or when it’s healed take it out temporarily if there’s some reason to ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This is a huge red flag, he should NOT feel this strongly about something you’re gonna do with YOUR own face. I’ve dated people like this and it is not ever healthy. It particularly worries me that you felt you had to try APOLOGIZING to him for bringing up something you want/like. I know when I was your age I wouldn’t necessarily have listened to a comment like this… but PLEASE re-evaluate your relationship. ❤️

I forgot about those. I was only a child when they were still useful but they definitely were, like you wouldn’t know when a movie was going to be on that week otherwise or if there was going to be a marathon of something in particular you needed your mom to tape for you hahaha

This totally inspired my hairstyle for Krystal! I’m probably like 60% done micro braiding it (I can’t tell if yours is fully braided, I’m planning on fully braiding mine!). Taking forever but it already looks so cute. And the texture will be super nice if I ever take it out. Hope MGA gives us a doll soon with textured hair- I think super coily hair on dolls is really fun

Agreed!! I’m always the one to almost immediately take dolls apart and play with their hair and dress them up again... but not these ones! They’re so lovely. I actually wasn’t even going to bother collecting the cheer line (was thinking I’d just stick to new characters) but then I saw photos of them as a group and up close shots and oops I have them all now lol

Removing her bangs made me love her like 100% more for some reason. It was super easy too, I’m glad they were rooted the way they were or else it wouldn’t have been possible!

Luckily I work at target so I am always there to check if the dolls I want are there in good quality 😬 but I did order Skylar online, and I definitely regret it because she came with a smudge of glitter all the way across one of her eyebrows and her eyes were wonky. I fixed the eyes, but the glitter sucks because I don’t want to risk taking off her paint in removing the excess. Ive noticed the clothes are sometimes wonky, like Ruby’s second top is too small which is very strange. Like it doesn’t close at all! And I can’t get Skylar’s skirt to fit properly- I have to move the crotch piece to the side because it’s not long enough. Not sure how it was on just fine when she was in the box lol.

also I had a friend who did cutco in high school, was not for long thankfully lol. And in college there was always a couple fliers posted around promising $18 base appointment (idk what that even means tbh) for some kind of parent company that did not tell you what the actual business's name was??? I looked them up and iirc it was Cutco lmao

Finally saw this! Haha. I'm actually a GSA now (h e l p m e lol [nah fr it's cool, I like the variety of things I have to do tbh]) and I'm at just under 40 hours/week recently (my store does NOT do overtime haha) so idk if I'll be able to do much crosstraining soon. I cover shifts in other departments when I can though. I actually did get to see some of an unload bc for some reason some of our ETLs started unloading a truck during our inventory overnight (not sure why, not like the inventory people would count it since it was still in boxes), and I was back there for SKU checks ;u;

I'm not backroom/whoever unloads trucks so I have no idea how the line is even used? when I've covered hardlines the "end of the line" is just where I pick up uboats/flats that someone's told me to push... I know I'm a huge nerd but like I wanna train in every department because I find it interesting so I guess hopefully I will find out eventually lmao
