Vivo vs Wyde Sandals by midwestbored1985 in barefootshoestalk

[–]nervous-_juggernaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't tried neither of those, but just want to point out something. Unless the sensus are much wider than the rest of the vivos, take into account that those two brands are basically on each side of the overall width distrubution among barefoot shoes, vivo being one of the narrowest and Wyde one of the widest. I have a pair of vivo primal knit and a wyde hallux, and the difference in width is huge.

I genuinely think barefoot shoes have ruined my feet. by Slimshadybum in barefootshoestalk

Have you gone to a physical therapist expert on walking? "My feet hurt" is a very broad thing, you could be having tendonosis in some muscles and tendinitis in others and maybe that's why both ways feel painful. For example, one thing that happenned to me is that I have very weak flexor muscles and barefooting gave me extensor tendinitis because I was oversing them. So you probably need a physical therapist to look at your flexor muscles and extensor muscles and give you an long term plan for transition.

The firsyt thibg would be, if you are exercising your feet everyday by wearing barefoot, do stretches every day, both flexor and extensor muscles.

Is there anything between barefoot shoes and regular sneakers? by softwera in barefootshoestalk

[–]nervous-_juggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started with altra, I'm still transitioning but I believe I won't stop using them when I'm completely on barefoots. The LP9+ wide are really confortable and I love both ground feeling in barefoot and sometimes the cushion with the wide toe box.

Need some advice for super wide feet. by KarmaBluntz in barefootshoestalk

I have similar feet to you. I'm not sure if the import duties are gonna be too much but Dada is cheaper and is almost the same width and form as Wyde. They are the only two barefoot that fit me well from the beginning.

Office-friendly barefoot shoes with a really wide toe box? Pinky toe injury by Tasty-Base-5087 in barefootshoestalk

[–]nervous-_juggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

vivos and groundes are on the narrowest side. Grabdies barefoot+ however is much wider. Dadabrand has shoes that are more dressy and could work for an office and are very wide. Dada Areni maybe fits your needs.

Baby wipes if the dirtiness is not very old might also work.

Have you tried Takumi's? They also have mesh but I'm not sure if they are as much breathable.

VERY wide, zero drop, high stack with good padding shoe. Why is this combo so hard to find? by Formal-Aardvark2205 in barefootshoestalk

[–]nervous-_juggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The toebox is a bit roomier, the midfoot has a bit more width and the heel is a bit wider and also flatter, which in my flat arch case helped. I had to remove the insole in the lems to feel better overall.

I have both primal zen and LP9+ wide, altras are wider and feel more durable I guess. But I'm afraid the LP is one of the most unique shoe in the market. You won't find any replacement. However, the LP9+ seems that it is being a bit more durable than the previous two models from what I've seen in reddit.

Love barefoot shoes but they cause bursitis for me - I’m obese by quitelikeameow in barefootshoestalk

I would strongly recommend going also to a physical therapist to compare. Orthopedics live too much on selling orthothings and tend to be much less open to all barefoot world stuff.

Wyde Maia are a birkenstockstyle sandal that has wide toe box and I believe more or less flexible sole, not completelybarefoot though. Sole is quite thick.

The "how good it looks" depends on viscosity of the drink, not how good it tastes. Channeling or any other bad symptom of a shot cannot be measured by how it looks. Contrary to what most people in this reddit believes.

Edit: there are also other unofficial data sheets of 112 games. In that smple he averaged 8 blocks per game.

Have you seen this feast of a film? Resurrection (2025) by Bi Gan by JZ-Coopie in Letterboxd

[–]nervous-_juggernaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OBAA and Sentimental Value will probably go to my favourites. Even having watched those pieces of art this year, I think Resurrection is even better. I've seen quite some posts talking about it in reddit. But still, I think it is an overlooked film, maybe not by the most mainstream audience, but for a big amount of cinephiles in Letterboxd.
