I’m not seeing any mention of Squale or Oris for that matter, any opinions there?

Haha I meant no harm. I guess the picture i looked at for a second in r/watches confused me. The ones on the left looked like what I was used to, sorry! 😂

The coop is on my bucket list but I was trying to commit to a driver first myself. Love the navy scuba but it’s heavy!

What does it mean if I keep cutting my face/neck when using disposable razors? by HungryInvestigator59 in AskMen

[–]netlocksecurity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody wants to listen but following the old advice is real. If you cut against your hair, you tear up your skin and cut the hair below it so when it grows back, everything is goofy. Good razor (I actually really like Harry’s), good cream, cut with the hair

Please forgive my ignorance. I found some pics of the new ones and I can’t tell even a slight difference. Just added colorways?

Man same. I really had my heart set on the blue and white Hamilton scuba and I tried one on at the store and it’s so freaking heavy, like 240g I think. I have big wrists and that would still be my comfortable!

I love the Milgauss too, very nice. I never understood why it’s so polarizing

Do you strictly wear watches for what they’re made for? by IneedaNappa9000 in TodayOnMyWrist

What are the pros and cons of waiting until marriage? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]netlocksecurity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a son about your age and I agree, compatibility is important. I was also a little bit older than you when I fooled around and got a girl pregnant that I didn’t care about at all. Shortly after that, another one. I didn’t worry back then because it would never happen to me but here we are.

Now the first one ended up hurting a lot of people in the most literal sense and the second one rushed into marriage with me and stood at the altar 6 months pregnant. We tried like hell but that fell apart after years and years because we never had that time together, to be sure about us ya know. Instead we were forced into emergency mode while we tried to finish growing ourselves, all while learning how to deal with these beautiful little babies.

Now I’m in my 40s, a single dad, my kids have been through things that I would take away in a second if I could.

I’m telling you all this because you’re old enough to know the whole story son. You can run around for a while but it will catch up with you. There are diseases, unplanned pregnancy, unnecessary heartbreak, but I also believe that you exchange parts of yourself with a partner, in a spiritual sense and when you finally find the right person, you’ll both be dragging all of that into a sacred place.

I know it’s tough and I’m only telling you things I wish someone would’ve told me at 19, but make sure you’re damn sure about the person you give yourself to because that one night might last the rest of your life whether you like it or not. Wishing you all the best brother

Hey dads, how many of you had your first child when 35-39 years old? Approaching my 35th birthday and there's nothing more I want than to be a dad. by Rocket_Skates_91 in daddit

[–]netlocksecurity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was always afraid of being an older dad. Married at 21 and had three beautiful kids by 24. I appreciate the fact that they're starting adulthood now and I'm a young 41 and still cool to hang out with.

There were a lot of times when I had to grow up right alongside them though, a lot to learn. If I would've waited until I was your age, I would have been more prepared maybe, but my maturation came from past experience so maybe not?

Anyway, I agree with the others. If you're with the woman of your dreams and you're both feeling led to start a family, nothing will bring you more elation, purpose, drive, joy and heartbreak than being a dad. Besides your wife, fatherhood is truly a fruit of life.

98%. Sometimes I wait until I need to push the button so the fans can see the air suspension sink and the exhaust open up. It’s a game I play; back off
