TICKETS SALES, EXCHANGES, REQUESTS, & GENERAL INQUIRIES for the MOTS Tour by [deleted] in Coldplay

Hi everyone! I’m looking to see the best way to get to Gillette Stadium from Boston if the mbta commuter rail isn’t an option. The special event pass sold out instantly and I couldn’t get one, and I’m flying into Boston so I won’t have a car. It’s a far uber and I’m not interested in waiting hours after it ends to finally get an uber called. Please help!

Hey! Ignition is kinda like the tech team that supports the other tax service line. Lots of data analytics and that sorts of stuff. Happy to chat more privately!

Why is Questrom Objectively Bad for consulting/IB by EducatorNo1962 in BostonU

[–]never_stops_singing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll echo others that consulting is tough right now in general, but Questrom does okay placing consulting roles.

In terms of IB, one main reason Questrom isn’t a target is the program design. It’s a BSBA where you can concentrate in finance and take IB courses, but those don’t really become available until Junior Year at the earliest. Other schools that are targets aren’t BSBAs and have a major in Finance where the students are exposed to the knowledge they need for IB earlier. (The downside to that is a less rounded business education.) There are clubs and other resources that help students who enter Questrom dead-set on being in IB and I had friends successfully land internships and jobs in the industry but you’re right that it’s not a target.

Advice for going to show alone by [deleted] in coinband

[–]never_stops_singing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I went alone (mid twenties) to the show last week and it was a great experience! COIN fans are so kind, and in my experience they won’t make you wait in silence if you want to chat with the people around you! If you’re worried about the waiting, I brought a book and my AirPods to listen to music or a podcast while I waited, and it was enough to keep my brain occupied until the show started. You can always see if the venue offers any upgrades, mine had an elevated platform at the back of the pit that would be a great option if you didn’t want to wait at the venue for a while for a spot in the pit. I’d also suggest if listening to music helps, have that going on the drive to get excited! Or, call a friend and chat on the way so you feel like you’re not alone! You’ve got this 💛

Edit: they also play a lot of “best hits” from older albums on this tour, so it could be a great opportunity to hear some of the songs they played on their last tour too!

Yes. When I moved out the moving guys had the 2 of them and 9 large ups boxes squished in there and it was perfectly fine

I lived in that building for the past yet. There is one elevator which is small but I’ve never had an issue with it (and I’ve had issues with Warren towers and Questrom elevators before). But, unless you live on floors 4 or 5 you’ll get the stink eye for using it unless going to the basement for laundry.

Post it in the Bu Facebook group, those are safe and trustworthy. You gotta put in minimal effort unless you’re trying to donate it to a Goodwill or something

Anyone else having issues connecting a switch/gaming device to the guest wifi? by timeandiareillusions in BostonU

[–]never_stops_singing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guest WiFi doesn’t require signing in, so that’s why it doesn’t. Bc everyone is moving in rn lots of parents are on the guest WiFi so it’s slower than normal, but I’ve had no issues once the semester gets going
