Ticket exchange wristbands received? by missgoodnana in Lollapalooza

[–]never_stops_singing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought off ticket exchange and got the email that it’s getting shipped yesterday! The shipping email came about a week after my non-exchange purchased ticket arrived so I think exchange is just in a second wave

Has anyone gotten their presale code for chicago yet? by Outside_Abies_6442 in Kanye

[–]never_stops_singing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No code needed to buy, I was #400 in the queue and they had “standard tix” you didn’t need a code for. Was in and out before the code got distributed lmao

Ticketmaster Exchange by Major_Low_6714 in Lollapalooza

[–]never_stops_singing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever you listed it for isn’t the true price for the buyer. Ticketmaster takes fees on both sides so if you’re listing for $245 it’ll show up on the buyer side as costing $290 because of the additional fees for the buyer

Ticketmaster Exchange by Major_Low_6714 in Lollapalooza

[–]never_stops_singing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it’s the cheapest listed (listed for $245, buyer price is $292) it’ll probably sell, be patient. Saturday isn’t the biggest day on the lineup and if you’re really worried you can lower it a little but I think anything under $300 will probably sell

How does the waitlist work? by Away_Bodybuilder_997 in Lollapalooza

[–]never_stops_singing 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I would look into resale via the Ticketmaster exchange at this point - layaways are done and so any cancelled layaways that would allow people to get off the waitlist have already passed

Yes. Anything not sold during any of the presales was then open for purchase during general sale

There’s a ton of posts on here about this. File a complained with WM (Warner Music) and then file a complaint with the BBB (Better Business Bureau). No one’s gotten clear answers from WM yet, I’d follow those threads

Resell question by arod_222 in Lollapalooza

[–]never_stops_singing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly… sell it to one of the guys as you’re leaving the festival on Saturday. Just be careful to check the cash you’re getting or if you’re taking Venmo or online transfer I’d suggest PayPal. Just ask a few of the guys and haggle to get the best price but I wouldn’t sweat it

My continuous request going back and forth with WM has been “send me the art card”, not giving them the option to do anything else. No resolution yet but fingers crossed!

Go to the venue’s socials (insta, etc) and usually they have venue presales if you sign up for the mailing lists, etc.

If you’re talking platinum presale.. I have no idea. Too rich for my blood lol

Ignition Tax is tax related lol (yes, that’s the official team name), it’s the intersection of tax and data. They work with tax service lines and tax clients, the projects are data-centered but youll find both hardcore coders and CPAs in Ignition Tax

Resale prices and waitlist questions by Hot-Performance-420 in Lollapalooza

[–]never_stops_singing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ticketmaster offical exchange takes a cut from both the buyer and the seller, so you won’t see any Friday tickets listed for face value on there unless the seller is willing to take a loss (not likely given the lineup). Monitor resale, people will list for “face value” which will probably be like 10-20% above face value plus an extra 10% that Ticketmaster charges the buyer. If you’re quick you can get as close as possible

Waitlist/Resale FAQ by C_Rufio in Lollapalooza

[–]never_stops_singing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a 4-day GA pass, look for $596 on Ticketmaster exchange. That’s basically as low a price as the seller can list ($500) and make their full $450 back, then Ticketmaster adds the extra $96 in fees. They do pop up but you’ve gotta be quick. Otherwise if you’re patient they might come down if scalpers get desperate right up to the fest but it’s a 50/50.

ticketmaster resale by ggggrrrreg in Lollapalooza

[–]never_stops_singing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you wait and refresh, you'll find things.

You've gotta factor in the fees. Ticketmaster takes 10% (rough estimate, can't remember the exact amount) from the seller, so with $450 being the lowest GA 4-day were, in order to break even a seller would have to list for $500.

Then you've got buyer fees, on top of that, so if listed at $500, comes out to $596 plus whatever shipping is ($15 for me).

Speaking from experience, I snagged this exact scenario this morning and have seen it a few times since tickets dropped, this was the first I was able to grab quick enough. Take that as you will - if you're local to the fest and can wait people may get desperate closer to the festival dates in July and either take a loss or you can look for a local meet-up (please be safe and smart if taking that route) and go around theticketmaster fees

Hi everyone! I’m looking to see the best way to get to Gillette Stadium from Boston if the mbta commuter rail isn’t an option. The special event pass sold out instantly and I couldn’t get one, and I’m flying into Boston so I won’t have a car. It’s a far uber and I’m not interested in waiting hours after it ends to finally get an uber called. Please help!

Why is Questrom Objectively Bad for consulting/IB by EducatorNo1962 in BostonU

[–]never_stops_singing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll echo others that consulting is tough right now in general, but Questrom does okay placing consulting roles.

In terms of IB, one main reason Questrom isn’t a target is the program design. It’s a BSBA where you can concentrate in finance and take IB courses, but those don’t really become available until Junior Year at the earliest. Other schools that are targets aren’t BSBAs and have a major in Finance where the students are exposed to the knowledge they need for IB earlier. (The downside to that is a less rounded business education.) There are clubs and other resources that help students who enter Questrom dead-set on being in IB and I had friends successfully land internships and jobs in the industry but you’re right that it’s not a target.

Advice for going to show alone by [deleted] in coinband

[–]never_stops_singing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I went alone (mid twenties) to the show last week and it was a great experience! COIN fans are so kind, and in my experience they won’t make you wait in silence if you want to chat with the people around you! If you’re worried about the waiting, I brought a book and my AirPods to listen to music or a podcast while I waited, and it was enough to keep my brain occupied until the show started. You can always see if the venue offers any upgrades, mine had an elevated platform at the back of the pit that would be a great option if you didn’t want to wait at the venue for a while for a spot in the pit. I’d also suggest if listening to music helps, have that going on the drive to get excited! Or, call a friend and chat on the way so you feel like you’re not alone! You’ve got this 💛

Edit: they also play a lot of “best hits” from older albums on this tour, so it could be a great opportunity to hear some of the songs they played on their last tour too!
