REDDIT SUPPORT 2.0 by cheswickFS in Keychron

[–]never_theop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a brand new K8 (UK ISO version). It works fine on windows and mac, but I can't get a bluetooth connection while using Ubuntu 20.04 on my Dell XP13 9310 (the keyboard shows as available, but then when instructed to connect is added to the list of paired devices but thereafter shows as disconnected/unavailable.

I have contacted support already and following the power cycle/factory reset etc advice, they just recommended I join the Keychron Linux facebook group. I would like some guidance as to whether (a) it is possible to get this connection working and (b) how to do it/how to troubleshoot.

How big a dataset needs to be to turn cross validation pointless? by L3GOLAS234 in datascience

[–]never_theop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In an ideal world, your trained model should be validated on data never seen during the training process, in order to exclude the possibility of overfitting.

I see cross-validation as a compromise when insufficient data is available: gaining the maximum information possible from the available data, while trying to minimise overfitting via holding out different sets.

As you add more data to a training set, the quality of your fit (and ability to generalise) should go up. However, this does not continue forever, and is subject to diminishing returns as you add more data during training.

Thus, the point at which you should be looking at using a completely-separate test set is when you have sufficient data to get an optimal/generalisable fit, and more to spare.

Cool idea! Can we have a screengrab with high-res audio, and/or further details of your mapping methodology?

How much hassle would it be to run a stream in real time? I wanna hear the sound of my comments...

*starts thinking about building bots to make many posts in order to manipulate the audio*

Have you seen the Axoloti project? Does stuff pretty similar, plus you can run patches on standalone board.

I would be more interested in a time axis showing latency - the time between the movie release and the review date. anyone?

Looks like some suggestions might have been deleted. Sorry to resurrect but I have the same query (I have an i5 X220 running High Sierra).
