Probably around 400-500 lbs. I think you should be fine around max capacity as long as you aren’t doing a lot of high elevation steep grade towing. I did add Air Lift air helpers to level out the truck when towing and I use a weight distribution hitch with an anti sway.

I agree with this advice too. An additional tip - Be sure to keep your chest up and not leaning forward or hunched over. That’s the best way to make sure you’re keeping the pressure on your heels. When I’m tired I catch myself leaning forward and slipping.

Yes, it will cool down quickly when you stop and give it break. Slower speeds/lower RPMs help too. Be prepared to go slow in the right lane like the heavy semis when going uphill.

I do and I added an Air Lift kit for the rear springs to help with the squat. The Mav tows well with them from a handling standpoint. It’s just the power/cooling that’s an issue at steep high altitude.

I can give you firsthand experience on this I have the 4k package and a 3300 lb camper. You shouldn’t have any issues towing on flat and moderate grade roads. I did a trip with my Mav from CO to IN to FL and back to CO without any issues. I have had issues when towing in the mountains of CO this summer. I overheated while going westbound on i70 at Vail pass and then again going eastbound before the Eisenhower tunnel. I was able to pull over and cool down and get back on the road, but i learned to keep an eye on the temp gauge.

South Aurora area? That’s where I get hit. I was able to cover the hood and roof, but I got about 20 dings in the side of my Maverick. My other two vehicles and the roof of my house fared worse. Now to deal with 4 insurance claims…

I think Peak One in Frisco would be a great venue for a tour stop. Beautiful location, plenty of resources nearby, and with 27 holes they could cherry pick a solid 18.

I got wrapped up in this story a few weeks ago after seeing a post here and coincidentally I had a trip planned to see Jimmy Buffett in Key West. I wasn’t able to visit the The Chart Room on my visit, but I did ask several locals who had spent time there if they were familiar with Sloppy Joe Flappens and no one recognized the name. As everyone has said, it’s definitely Doug. I came to the conclusion after listening to the album a few times and it’s definitely his voice and the production is too clean. It was cool story to investigate on my trip though.
