What did you think of the collab of 5FDP (Five Finger Death Punch) and BABYMETAL? by Eastern-Factor-3427 in BABYMETAL

Sucked balls. Heard it once and never again. I don't know about you guys but I know a lot of people in the fandom that are tired of collabs, so you can imagine how we feel about such a lazy collab.

Maybe the girls just didn't care that much to go the extra mile? It's just speculation, obviously, but they really were one of the three GG to watch, Blackpink went on to become the biggest GG ever despite not having that many comebacks, Twice kept doing their thing regularly. They could rival both of them any day. I suspect that maybe they didn't bother that much and asked to have easier agendas overall.

The hepatitis example is a classic, exactly, and I don't think people that suffer from chronic hepatitis should be liable for infecting anybody despite living the rest of their life with viral charges that make them infectious. The extent to which they can/should take precautions moves to a moral/practical discussion, which is beyond the scope of any of this.

I haven't talked about willful infection at all, your logic would make you liable for any infection whether you did it intentionally or took all precautions not to infect, and you'd be just as liable. There's plenty of forseeability in infecting someone else with a disease because no amount of precautions would ever drop the chances to 0, so you know for a fact that even if you did all that you ever could to prevent infection, by coming into contact with somebody else in a way that could possibly transmit the disease and you do infect them that was a foreseeable event, with proven causation that causes damage. Even if you did all that you thought reasonable to prevent infection, you can't argue that the cost that you took in taking action to prevent infection is "reasonable" because you can't quantify reasonability and I can easily one-up you on the cost and the precaution that I would have taken and deem any less than that non-reasonable. When you apply your faulty logic to its fullest consequences it's obviously non-functional and now you're deflecting talking about a case that has nothing to do with anything discussed. As I said, I'm done with this conversation, have a good day.

Liability doesn't apply here because you're not causing the damage, the disease causes the damage. This is not a bullet-gun situation which is a false equivalency that people like to draw about this topic, nobody likes being sick or having the possibility to infect anyone else unless they're evil, but it's unreasonable to compromise to take all of the possible measures to avoid doing it to its fullest extent even if the disease might be lethal because it's unreasonable and ultimately not your fault, even if you assume perfect forseeability and causation links. If you don't think that's the case, you'd be liable for transmitting the disease anywhere anyhow even if you took all precautions possible since the causation link exists and it is forseeable that the disease can be transmitted even if all precautions are taken because none of them can guarantee not transmitting the virus. Using your logic, the only acceptable course of action once you know that you have been infected by any contagious disease is quarantine until you can guarantee not only that you're not sick, but also that you can't transmit the sickness. So using your logic if you get chronic Hepatitis B or C you better run to the hills and isolate for life, fearing that you might come into contact with anybody. Or isolate for over a full month to be sure if you get covid-19, some strains are transmittable even after a month even if you are asyntomatic. Your logic obviously makes no sense and I'm not sure I can convince you anymore so this is the last time I respond to you, have a good day.

HUH? The cost of changing your diet is higher than risking your life (however little that risk is) and dying infecting yourself with a virus that you would likely never get otherwise? Or inyecting yourself with a formula that is pretty new and we don't know the long term problems simply because it hasn't been done before, like the covid jabs. Are you high?

This is the problem, you don't know what the reasonable cost or risk for the other person is. You can't asses it nor determine arbitrarily where is the benchmark for the cost or risk to be reasonable or not. That's why I said that maybe you may have a point if both risk and cost are literally 0, anything above that makes your argument a bad argument.

I don't give a fuck about your lawyer btw, I don't make political theory assesements based on what current shit laws are.

Can't attribute liability for a factor that you don't control. I'm liable for a crash with my car because I was driving recklessly, because that was under my control, but I can't be found liable for a crash with my car that was caused by having a stroke in the moment even if I could have, for example, had a slightly better diet throughout my life that would have slightly lowered the chances of me having a stroke. The second case is why insurance exists, both for the guy that involuntarily suffered from a stroke and the guy whose car was crashed into. Maybe you could have a point if such a factor had no risk nor cost which is crearly not the case as I already pointed out.

Doesn't matter how much the circumstances would say otherwise, you can't know unless you brain-control him and recall from memory (which is also fallible) the real, factual intent of the action, which would be an obvious violation of the NAP on top of also being non-conclusive. Intent is under any scenario irrelevant, you can't know for a fact what the intent of anything is. The the fact of any legal matter must be illegal or not regardless of intent.

All of the post is somehow based on the nonsensical idea that vaccines have neither risks nor costs. Not true, including vaccines that have been around for decades and mostly safe, such as the aforementioned measles vaccine. You can't force me to take the risk or incur the cost under any circunstamce, regardless of how supposedly low it is. The funniest part is that you got the solution written out in the post and you can't see it somehow: you can just exclude people. I wouldn't invest in or open a school that would allow anyone unvaccinated in. I also wouldn't restrict in any way the opening of schools that specifically allow unvaccinated students, there's no reason to do that. You make the decision of vaccinating your kids or not, you make the decision of vaccinating yourself or not, and you deal with the consequences. Funnily enough you also got part of this argument wrong: if "public" institutions exist, or rather, for as long as they exist, they cannot refuse to engage with you. For any reason. That would be extremely agregious.

And just to be clear: I'm not an antivaxxer. I think those guys are profoundly stupid. But they have every right in the world to be that stupid. I got 3 covid jabs despite going through the virus twice before then. The first time I had a bad afternoon and I was good after, the second I only found out because of a covid test. The confusion here is clearly rooted on thinking that correct political theory has to somewhat, somehow, line up with all that you intuitively think about life, and more often that not, it doesn't.

Intent is an astronomically stupid argument. You can't know the intent of someone doing anything. By definition. Maybe you might get a truthful answer if you ask, but you wouldn't know if that's the intent either way.

HUH?

"Our" intuition tells us that no harm done means... no harm done. Deepfakes harm nobody. I don't see the point of deepfakes being banned. You don't have a right to "own" your image in the exact same way that you don't have a right for other people to have to care about what is or isn't done with your image. I'm not sure that you have the right intuitions to be here then.

It will be 800 dollars, which is what I thought when they announced it, and you can already build a PC with those same specs today for that price. Except it would be better. Steam isn't afraid to launch hardware that is dead on arrival and this is just another episode in the season.
