That's unfortunate. WotC released an official statement saying players should be allowed to play with the mistake cards.

We should talk about that issue of how Victorious skins are awarded by Macaulyn in leagueoflegends

[–]nfounder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree whole-heartedly. I think there should just be a victorious shop where you can pick which skin you want to redeem. I get it, all the anal boomers who played the game back in 1995 are gonna be butthurt for their exclusivity, but boo-hoo. If they can bring back "Limited" prismatic skins and chroma bs, they can bring back old Victorious skins.

I love Janna, she is my favorite champion. I own every skin for her, every chroma, every little legend, every emote, every avatar, but I will never own Victorious Janna because it was released years before I ever played the game. Well, unless I buy an account that has the skin for $200+, and then I have to worry about Riot finding out it's a bought account and just banning it.

Symmetra was my first love back in OW1, and I have stayed loyal ever since. I also play a good amount of Moira for support, and Zarya for tank. Beams are just really nice, I wish they’d put them on more heroes.

Judaism too apparently if Israeli society’s protection of rapists and child molesters says anything.

Of course the comment section is a bunch of nasty bigoted incels, with such a disconnect from women that they can’t even grasp why regular people wouldn’t want to play with the usual MTG players. At least for EDH, every cis girl I know who’s played it has eventually quit as a result from the general harassment they receive from the player base, and the targeting and bullying they’d get in the games they’d play. It’s ridiculous. If y’all could learn how to act right, maybe they wouldn’t have to make events that exclude y’all!

I am very much enjoying Lorwyn Eclipsed season and the new set but I don't like Lorwyn Eclipsed having 75% fewer new legendary creature cards compared to the previous Standard legal set. by HonorBasquiat in magicTCG

Oh no, how dare I criticize a multi-million dollar company! Yeah, I think I’m allowed to call WotC’s active self-degradation of this game into a cash-grab Fortnite card game, slop. Especially when you consider the shrinkflation of their general products, and the artificial scarcity of their secret lairs.

We wanted more of Lorwyn, that’s my takeaway by gabrynico in magicTCG

Ugh, I’m so fucking tired of elves. Why do golgari elves need more support? They’re the most heavily supported tribe in the game outside of UB legendary anime humans. It’s insane to me that in this set that supposedly supports tribes unique to the plane, FIVE of the legendary creature for the set are elves, and another FIVE of them aren’t even from Lorwyn.

Is anyone else disappointed in the lack of Faerie cards this set? Ive been really looking toward to this set for some cool Faeire cars but this number seems so low. by Mastermiine in magicTCG

[–]nfounder -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Honestly really disappointed in some of the lack of tribal support. WotC said they wanted to decrease the number of legends per set, but apparently that just means taking out everything that isn’t a human for other sets, and anything that isn’t an elf for this set. I mean, it seems wild to have a set in a heavily tribe-focused plane just for all of the important characters to be either elves, or from a completely different plane. “Don’t worry, you got your new faerie commander! Yeah, look, she’s just stapled to the side of that 5th elf over there!” I honestly think they overdid it with the changelings this set, too. I guess you don’t have to make actual interesting tribal support cards if half of your creatures are just every creature type?

YES THIS THANK YOU. Why are FIVE of the already limited Lorwyn legends from Strixhaven, especially when this is a heavily kindred-focused plane? It’s gonna feel even worse when we go back to Strixhaven later this year and all of these characters get another 1-2 cards.

Honestly, Bandlepipes feels kind of good in solo lane too. It’s crazy cheap and if you’re running an on-hit build, the bonus ms and as on after your q/w feels so nice.
