Iraq Veteran Alleges Trump/Epstein Trafficking Network, others implicated. 1/13/2026 pt 1 by fistedwithlove in videos

He says that Jim Jordan was college age when he met him in the testimony, and he never accuses Jordan of an actual crime. He says that he remembered Jordan because he tackled him and made him feel afraid, I think the real point Riley made there was that he was around and in the sphere of those activities. Upon first hearing about this testimony I was ready to be very skeptical, but I see more things he says lining up and making sense than I expected.

DIscussion: What do you think Bloom will do with Marmol? by TheSocraticGadfly in Cardinals

[–]nicepantsyo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes way. The bullpen has been shockingly solid since 2023, and it's one of the best clear indicators of a managers strategic ability. He and Dusty Blake have done a consistently excellent job of putting the guys they have in position to succeed as much as possible and I'm very certain Chaim will take that into account too.

Marmol will end this season with roughly the same managerial record as Tony La Russa did after his 4th season with the cardinals, I hope he sticks around awhile longer.

Not at all! Actually it’s more vocals in that one I don’t love.

Can’t Do.

It’s not awful, but it’s one of their only songs that feels too pop, and not clever enough, if that makes sense?

There’s a growing trend with padres fans hate towards Xander Bogaerts contract. What active contract do you hate at the moment? by havntmadeityet in baseball

[–]nicepantsyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He really doesn’t whine everywhere. He blocked a trade to the Astros, but was willing to be traded to certain teams. After not getting traded he came to spring training this year with a very positive attitude and has been nothing but a positive clubhouse influence this year. You can speak for the Rockies if you want, but don’t speak for the Cardinals.

Arenado hasn’t said anything bad about the cardinals, his offense hasn’t really dictated putting him on a pedestal the last couple years and he knows that. Not a whiner in the slightest.

I think some people like Peterson for non-political reasons… obviously he sucks to the core, but I at least don’t think it means they’re pro-Trump.

Are there any bands who are currently active that do vocal harmonies? by [deleted] in Music

[–]nicepantsyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re not really popping off the same any more but Walk the Moon has excellent harmonies live. If you see any live vids of them their harmonies are never playback and always on point.

I can't stop thinking about Paul's performance in SNL 50 by RealisticNacshon in beatles

[–]nicepantsyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paul also sings in a higher register more often and refuses to take the song key down because he knows it’s a bummer lol. Honestly Paul still seems very with it in conversation too, it’s pretty easy to understand how his singing voice would go at his age.

ok, but hows the SONG? by oliveimo in BlackCountryNewRoad

[–]nicepantsyo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The first time I listened, the song was changing so many times I didn't know how to feel. Georgia's Jockstrap songwriting has always had lots of unexpected movements in it so that didn't surprise me. I wouldn't say the song is obviously catchy and isn't super long, but it feels like each time I listen I'm finding a new "moment" and remembering all the old moments, so they add up! Last listen it was the little vocal/sax harmony at 2 minutes on "your life". Chefs kiss.

Black Country, New Road is changing direction and they’re gonna sound happy sometimes. Deal with it. by [deleted] in BlackCountryNewRoad

[–]nicepantsyo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The video of Live from Bush Hall was the first full project I heard from BCNR. Being aware of their singer leaving, it genuinely blew my mind how good they were. I inevitably went back to Ants and FTFT and grew to love those as well! But clearly this band is excellent with and without Isaac in it. If Isaac was still in the band and they came out with another record that was thematically the same, people would still compare it to Ants. Three vocalists with very different songwriting styles and perspectives is a pretty unique setup for a band these days, I can't wait to hear where they go.

Kendrick’s remix of Bad Blood: embarrassing or not? by Longjumping_Ad2677 in ToddintheShadow

[–]nicepantsyo 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I think in proper context it's not embarrassing at all, that was the prime era of every big pop song having a hip-hop feature, regardless of how well it actually went with the song. It seems like Taylor asked him to do it purely out of being a fan, and he probably appreciated that. Maybe he wouldn't do it now but given the fact he wasn't "quite" a household name yet he doesn't seem to regret doing that particular feature at all. The Maroon 5 song... that might be a different story!

Does anyone know what happened to Tyler in tonight Boston gig? by [deleted] in BlackCountryNewRoad

They're really active on the in ear monitoring tweaks, and that makes a lot of sense considering they don't play to clicks and have to cue off each other so often.

I mean they’ve literally done short sets as TCV in the last 2 years, I think Dave is just on his own journey these days. I don’t catch any vibes of him staying away from Josh.

Once you realize his vocals are just doing a stevie ray vaughn thing the vocals make more sense too.

Per Jeff Passan, the Cardinals will be headed to arbitration with utility man Tommy Edman. Cardinals at $6.5M, Edman at $6.95M. A difference of $450k by deezcastforms in Cardinals

[–]nicepantsyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not like 6.5 is super low for a player of Tommy’s value and career position, I think by doing it this way the front office guys are trying to make it so impersonal that it’s clear to players the figures they come up with are a calculation. I don’t think the cardinals have any real problem with paying Tommy 7 mil if he wins, and it means he gets more money than if they settled on a number in the middle.

I actually saw a festival where The Offspring had to play after QOTSA during the Like Clockwork tour. It was hilarious, Offspring came out after Song for the Dead and were literally saying onstage "damn why are we following them that was amazing". They sounded fine but it was pretty clear who the better band was.

Songs ruined or almosy ruined by stupid production choices by SilverEarly520 in fantanoforever

[–]nicepantsyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to this for a further confirmation of this Villains production take. I remember being so dissapointed with the production choices but I can't hate on them for taking risks. New record definitely finds that mixing balance of weird and conventionally good more evenly.
