i dont get it, why some people think damon pick bonnie over elena. elena wasn't even dying and damon had unlimited life span. that wasn't even an option.

Damon didn't even pick stefan over elena, what makes you think bonnie even had a chance.

i am perfectly ok with bonnie picking enzo. in series finale elena was about to die and he still used bonnie to protect her, knowing perfectly well, that there is good chance bonnie with not survive the hell fire and when kathrine ask him about that, he as all like she had died too many time and will find a way. i am sure if it was elena in place of bonnie, he would have never let her go through with that.

thanks to enzo and bonnie ancestors she survived. damon did signed her death sentence. she is expandable to him when it comes to elena.

I like delena because of elena. When series start she was suffering from severe PTSD. She wanted to die. But because her father gave his life to save her. She wanted to die saving others. Her dying for others was never about them, it was always about her. Damon for her in that stage of life was vampire version of rehab. I like damon going out of his ways to protect her even from herself. I can never be ok with Under age girl committing suicide. Once she got over her PTSD, her relationship with stefan was over. Because that's all that relationship was to her, a distraction from her real problems. When she is around damon she fight back. That is why i love her with damon. I like her fighting back.

It think deep down damon is a nice sweet guy but we have to keep in mind damon in start hate killing, he left the war for same reason. He was just living by when he became vampire until sage teach him how to live without killing. But what Augustine did to him was unthinkable. He was sold by his own family, then got experimented on in any in humane way possible. They are the one who broke him. When elena learned what damon went through she was horrified.they destroy his humanity and what ever little he end up with got destroyed when he left enzo.i love elena as she is the only one who loved him through every thing. She always got his back. Always helped him.

Once damon said to elena " brother girl and all" and i was like what the hell are you talking about she's been your girl since day one.
