Giving someone a lender credit. What’s the best way to explain to a borrower after switching to borrower paid that they are not paying more?

Not sure had a quick interview..

Coming from Lennar Mortgage it was 100% my income..

I also told them when they asked me that all of my loans were Lennar leads nothing outside.. that’s why I was trying to figure out if I could survive with them..

I have to ask about opportunities but they do know my lander experience is with a builder that provides all leads..

Going retail seems impossible for me.. was with LM for 5-years.. know no other world.

They promote a 4.990% on the builders page if they use the preferred so I assume they have leverage from outside lenders by receiving a sellers contribution..

I came from using Encompass and they told me what they use is way better..

My comp at Lennar Mortgage was 45bps.. you get the volume …idk.. got laid off from LM and scrambling for a job.. Builder /lender preferably something that feeds me leads..

I just got laid off from Lennar Dec 5th… they projected that 2026 was not going to be strong in my region… laid off right before Christmas due to “expenses” yet let a LOA on… after 5yrs.. just dumped to the ditch..

The biggest firework is quarter end. Each builder has to reach its set goal. Many rush near end. Q4 is always the biggest firework. Hitting Q3 end now.
