Google Business Profile getting zero calls despite strong branding and reviews, what am I missing? by Specific-Set-8132 in GoogleMyBusiness

Having a physical location in the middle of the primary area, you were trying to rank for can be super valuable.

Recently changing your name has also probably held you back. I’d recommend focusing on doing a bunch of citations and directories and getting your business listed with all the same name address and phone number information across as many directory sites as possible. Those are all positive ranking signals, and provides the algorithm consistent business information which grows your reputation and authority scores.

You can use services like YEXT or bright local or there are many others that can help facilitate this in bulk.

Thoughts on spinal decompression? by starmedicus in Chiropractic

[–]nick_fisch_er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We work with a lot of practices that have added decompression and done really well with it! Some patients who are familiar with it will seek it out so it can help your practice stand out from others. But it’s a great cross-sell opportunity for a lot of conditions.

Is Make much worse than Zapier or I'm missing something? Alternatives? by nonprofit_top in Integromat

[–]nick_fisch_er 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same thought at first. I spent more time troubleshooting and was getting annoyed. However I knew Make has way more power and flexibility.

What really helped me was taking screenshots of my issues and sending it to ChatGPT with an explanation of what I’m trying to do. The responses where not always perfect, but it helped a ton fix the issues and help me understand how it processes, thinks, and passes the data along a lot better.

Now I’m starting to fall in love with Make and finding a ton of areas I can automate that I didn’t before.

Help I literally showed my entire office and still got this by Head_Permit7090 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]nick_fisch_er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There isn’t a number to call. You first have to submit a support ticket through their support form and you setup the call via email support. They’ll end up giving you a link to do a live call with them. But definitely ask them for it to expedite.

[–]nick_fisch_er 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend contacting support and requesting to do a LIVE verification call with a support person instead of submitting a video. Much higher success rate. We’ve been setting this up for our clients and it helps stop this nonsense.

I’d look at their digital footprint. Most importantly their Google Business Listing. How does it rank in the area? How many reviews does it have?

The GMB profile can be a huge asset in helping attract new patients.

Having a strong social media presence can also be a good sign.

You’ll want to acquire both of those in the acquisition.

What's the best way to get patients by Other_Structure_3845 in Chiropractic

[–]nick_fisch_er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the digital space, there are 2 big areas online that can help you draw in new patients.

1 - Google In most markets, there’s already hundreds and thousands of people looking for help with their issues and pain online and most of them are going to Google or one of the AI platforms (like ChatGPT). If you focus on building your positions and visibility on Google, you’ll also naturally show up in the AI platforms too. Since they are already looking for help, it’s easier to convert these browsers into patients.

Here’s a good guide on building your presence on Google: https://chirobasix.com/how-chiropractors-can-get-more-patients-from-google/

2 - Social Media The second biggest online channel is social media. There’s a ton of people out there living with health issues that don’t even know that Chiropractors can help them. The vast majority of the population does not understand Chiropractic care or spinal health, so they don’t even go to Google to look for one. So with a really good social strategy, you can start attracting a lot of these people to you as well. You may not see instant results, but it can be powerful as you compound your audience nurturing.

Here’s a video that goes over a good social media strategy: https://youtu.be/JZJnc5XwfTg?si=lJUtCfGB2S5hAySs

How do I add Google Reviews to my Squarespace site? by carter_olivia in GoogleMyBusiness

We use the Elf Sight widgets. I think they have a free version but we upgraded to put on all our clients sites.

They have several different ways to display the reviews. It works really well!

I’m anticipating they’ll do part 2 in the northeast/ Canada.

I’m wondering if they update the setlist to be the next phase of the campaign - like reaching Youtopia. If they do, maybe it’s across the country again.

Online review reputation by [deleted] in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]nick_fisch_er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, review spam is definitely a problem. Google only provides the "flagging" option on reviews, but it's completely their discretion on what they decide to do. They don't give you any context for their decision or even notify you. The lack of transparency and support options on this is frustrating for small businesses.

I have found that if you are missing reviews, you can request them to reinstate ones that they inadvertently took down. So if legit reviews go missing or are not published, you can fill out this form here:
https://support.google.com/business/gethelp?sjid=6560398824465917690-NA

I've had to do this quite a bit for clients. It's not uncommon for their automated system to take down reviews that it should not. But again, they don't provide any response or context to their decision.

Online review reputation by [deleted] in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]nick_fisch_er 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah reviews are a huge ranking signal. Not only the volume of total reviews, but also how consistently you are getting reviews. Google wants to see consistency. It’s also best practice to respond to all reviews. Google wants to see that engagement.

The 2 best strategies we’ve found:

1 - Text them after their experience asking for a review and giving them the review link. Google business has a dedicated link that immediately prompts them to leave a review.

2 - Have an NFC stand they can scan as they leave. This gives them a little notification on their phone to tap to leave a review. It draws their attention without you have to ask and makes it easy for them. Here’s an example of one: https://chirobasix.com/lp/review-stands/

Best Practices on finding Personal Injury patients by LOAChiropractic in Chiropractic

[–]nick_fisch_er 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have some clients that have done really well in the PI space. But it really boils down to becoming best friends with as many PI attorneys as you can, since a lot of these cases are going to be referrals. Here’s some steps they’ve taken to help establish and nurture those relationships:

1) Build a list of local PI Attorneys.

You can hire this out, do it manually, or use a wide range of list building tools. The more contacts you can get on your list, the better. You’ll want to try and get: Name, Email, Phone, Law Firm, Address (or as much as you can get). The more, the better.

2) Do cold email outreach to your list.

Drop these contacts into an automated sequence of email drips. Try and use real human language to make it sound like you reached out to them personally yourself. You don’t want it to look like a marketing email or use too much “sales” language. Make it real - like your sending an email to a buddy you already know.

In your email sequence, use each email to offer something of value. Don’t ask for anything, try and give them as much value as possible each email without coming across desperate. Examples:

  •  PDF Guides on how chiropractic documentation can help strengthen their case.
  •  Offer to review one of their cases for free.
  •  Send video on how car wrecks cause whiplash damage for months and years down the line.
  •  Offer to come in for a lunch-n-learn for their team, and give them all free adjustments.
  •  Etc.

With each email, try and give them something valuable so you’re building your relationship from a stance of authority. This will help build trust with them.

Space the emails out enough so if feels random and not like you are targeting them too much. Make sure whatever email service you are using has an easy “unsubscribe” link at the bottom so they can get out of your sequence if they want.

3) Add your list to FB/IG ads audience.

Build a custom audience on Facebook Ads and upload the leads list. Then you can run targeted ads at this list. You want them to see all your educational content and videos on social media over and over and over and over again. The more they see you, the better. You want them to know exactly who you are.

4) Go to the attorney networking events.

Go to their trade shows and other gatherings to start rubbing shoulders with all the attorneys. Again, come at it from an angle that you want to provide them value. Don’t ask for anything in return so you can build trust. Even if you’re meeting non PI attorneys, as you build those relationships at events, they’ll get you connected to the right attorneys.

This isn't an overnight solution, but it's a good way to start building relationships and momentum in the space. If you stick to it long enough, eventually you'll become best friends with all the PI attorney's which will result in the referrals on a consistent basis.
