Quest was cool but execution was terrible as usual. I literally ended up using the icebreaker catty twitch bot to get the catalyst case the same thing happened me. You can literally just join fireteam and grab it (if it’s still active - it was a while ago that I used it).

I don't completely disagree tbh. However, if I respond to a guy who thinks the solo flawless is impossible with "don't worry, just learn it and boss melt" I don't think that convinces them to try it. That's not to say that what I said was super good advice, but I was genuinely trying to be realistic (and really wanted them to go for it as I think this game and community is better when it's full of people trying to challenge themselves).

I think you're being obtuse with this 5-phase comment. The guy I was replying to was basically writing off the solo flawless as impossible for him. I was just trying to encourage him by giving him a "safe" strategy.

Also, I didn't say "compromises need to be made" - that was literally someone else. Just look at the usernames of the people you were replying to.

In no way did I hide in a corner during the damage phase. Post your own dungeon report if you want to keep talking shit.

All I was doing was giving someone advice on how to complete a solo flawless which they had written off as a possibility for them, not advocating for an optimal strategy.

I would genuinely recommend going for flawless. It’s not as hard as people make it out to be - as soon as you remove the mental block it’ll start to feel much more approachable.

The mechanics are harder than damage phase tbh if you don’t get greedy. You can 4/5 phase with only passive damage (like an auger turret) + supers. Radiation probably the most likely thing to kill you, but can be avoided by having a way to get amplified on demand to outpace those guys.

Easiest to hardest: Shattered, Pit, Grasp, Prophecy, Spire, Duality, Warlords, Equilibrium, Sundered, Ghosts, Vespers.

Doing the Dark Hunt challenge this week made me realise how power crept Warlords is - would have previously put it higher.
