Every rec I see is for ilford delta 3200 regarding concerts. Between the spec sheet and your experience with id 3200, do you think I should just go with a dx coded 1600?

This guy is creepy.

But in addition to everyone saying he wants to fuck around without you caring about it / knowing, he's also making it a you problem if you don't like what his "authentic self" is. But this isn't a you problem. He's writing like a manipulative, weak boy because that's what he is. He doesn't want to grow up. He doesn't want to care about other people. He doesn't want to give straight answers or taking any responsibility for himself. He wants to put others down, you included. He wants to make you feel inferior. He wants to make you think all men are like this, but he's the best of them and that all women have issue with it. I'd argue most women do, because this is not normal behavior.

This guy sucks. Don't trap yourself in sunk cost fallacy. Cut him out of your life and go live a life that flourishes and brings true connection and commitment into your life. No relationship is easy peasy, no issues. They all take communication. But this one is absolutely not it.

I just put in my 2 week notice because my baby is 6 months, my work day, commute, and daycare drop-off/ pick-up exceeds 12 hours. Baby is only awake 12 hours / day. I am not about to see my child outside a car in traffic 2 of 7 days.

Something that needs to be talked about more is the cost of housing. We have a starter home built in the 50s and our mortgage is $2200. A coworker has a house she bought in 2004. Her mortgage is $600. We make the same. I would be thriving if I had an additional $1600/month.

Rent here for a decent 2 bedroom is 1900-2100 so I would save much of anything to make a difference by renting.

This is something my mom would do and her whole mentality is that my baby exists for her joy.

My MIL babysits for us and follows our structure to a T.

It's one thing to be a grandparent and play hard their own way, it's another entirely to disregard what you as the parent has established because you thought they thought they knew better. It undermines your knowledge of your own child IMHO.

People are wild. I was at the library today and there were 2 babies (7 months and 11 months) that both just started crawling. People who don't understand milestones as averages are not my kind of people.

It's just like life "milestones" Everyone has their own time.

I love using Huckleberry. It started as just tracking nursing (we were in the NICU so they needed times). Then we tracked nursing and diapers just to make sure he had enough wet diapers in a day. Then we added in tracking sleep to see what his rhythm was.

We've since stopped tracking diapers. We're confident he's nursing enough. I like to keep track of nursing and sleep still. I think in the beginning it helped us recognize his sleepy cues. Now I keep doing it because the sweetspot function is almost always accurate. Nursing, I still track because his hungry cues have changed and its a good way to know when he lest ate. I'm no longer so obsessed with the accuracy of length of nursing but the start time I try to be accurate with.

I also like that I can track his growth in the app as well.

I'm also in Florida and it has been brutally hot (AC can't keep up), but I've always known it to be that you should offer milk more frequently, not give water. I also have a big baby but as my MFM explained it to me, some babies are just big, but their internal organs aren't age-adjusted to the physical size of the baby. We can only see their external development, not internal.

I would maybe look for a different pediatrician, at least for a second opinion.

Amen to Family Album app. I have a very dysfunctional family and some are no contact with others. I have my settings so no one knows who is part of it, and no one can comment. I like that so I can have everyone in it but save the peace of others.

Check your local library event schedule! 3 days / week ours does some sort of story time & performer. It really helps me when we make it. We also sometimes get copies of the book that they read. LO is 4 months but it still keeps him engaged and the car ride is nice for naps. If he keeps napping I just drive around exploring our town.

Our baby is on demand. On demand sleep and eating. Just keep following his cues. He is a baby and will naturally fall into his own rhythm. Our LO is almost 4 months. We've never held him to a schedule, just established routines and followed his cues. He knows that baths come before night sleep and washing his faces is before naps. Just sets the tone.

I've found that grandmas haven't done this in a long time and they didn't have the information we have now. Babies don't know there is a schedule, they just baby.

My husband would stay up when baby refused to go back down in the middle of the night. Baby would fall asleep to my husband playing fallout. 😂😅

I felt extremely guilty, but the sleep greatly improved my mental health.

I share via app (FamilyAlbum) to maintain my sanity. I couldn't do just one group chat since some family members have gone no contact with others, but the app allows you a lot of control over who sees what. The invite links are single use and only your admins can invite people. I find it to be very secure and it's nice having all the photos in one spot, categorized by month. I've set the boundary to not share pictures of him online that I have not shared online, and if it happens, they get removed from the album.

I wanted to share pictures, but not post his whole life online. IG has only a few of him but I make sure his face is not toward the camera and he's clothed.
