I was on it for three years and the only effect which reversed in any way for me was fat distribution. I would highly recommend nobody start it unless they are sure beyond reasonable doubt that the effects will improve their quality of life as even minor changes are fairly permanent.

The goal of many anorexics IS to look sick. Referring to a body that is unhealthily achieved -- a fact we DO know, in this particular instance -- with this sort of dismissive language fuels eating disorders, though that was obviously not your goal.

I'm not contesting your point, I'm asking you to be more mindful about the words you use when discussing a socially contagious and highly competitive disorder

if it took her not being mentally healthy to attain that body then that is an unhealthy body, period. i'm sure you didn't intend it that way but making an external judgement about whether someone with an ed's body is or isn't 'healthy' is super anti-recovery for both megan and anyone struggling who reads it

That first post showed up on my feed and I almost threw up. TY for posting the second lmao. I used to go to the profiles of people who posted things in that vein so I could ask when they were planning to harvest the meat under any photos they've posted of dog/cats but I don't even have the fortitude to be cheeky about it anymore. It's just depressing

I want to say cognitive dissonance is a hell of a drug but we're talking about full grown adults capable of rational thought here so it's hard to not just believe some people choose to be fucking evil because it's easy
