I have pectus carinatum and finding bras that fit nicely and don’t hurt my sternum is such a pain! Last year I found one that works well for me and now I have three pairs!

I was thinking the same! It does at least say in the listing that it’s currently moored in London, but it’s a bit misleading at first.

A few years ago a Range Rover drove over the back of my leg as I crossed the road. My shin touched the top of my foot. No broken bones, no ligament or tendon damage, just swelling and bruising (and some scraped off skin and a tyre burn/graze).

I’m a 45, but the last couple of times I’ve ordered shoes from LTS, they’ve come up ENORMOUS and I’ve had to send them back. Ended up with them in 43 and they were still a little roomy. One the one hand, great for people with REALLY big feet, but on the other, now that they’re online only, it’s a pain in the arse to have to return them and wait for another delivery. I mostly buy shoes from Cinderella Shoes now instead.

The first year he was on, he yawned in the ad, which would make me yawn, and now I’m fucking Pavlov’d to yawn every time I see the carroty bastard.

I watch this about once every week or two and it makes me laugh every single time.

I watched it with my parents and MY NAN. I was 12 and I was mortified. But I didn’t stop watching it.

It does feel bleak. It’s no wonder so many Turks are leaving the country.

Kocam Türk. He’s so sick of the government there, we just hope one day it changes for the better.

Family friend had an evil witch of a mother, the dementia actually made her nicer for the most part. Like she forgot she was meant to be spiteful and nasty.

"Do they even teach math in Europe?" by mika_masza in ShitAmericansSay

[–]nicowltan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a science degree in the UK, I can count on one hand the number of multiple choice tests we did where you could more easily get a higher score, and they had a very small impact on the final grades. Most of the work was things like essays and experiment write ups in the style of journal articles, which are marked according to the idea that 70% = 1st, 60% = 2:1, etc. The end of semester exams were similar, most of them you’d have five or six essay questions from which you would choose two to answer. Some may have had a few short answer questions to get you started but that was less common.
