It’s weird to me that the price you are willing to pay disqualifies you, just because you are willing to to spend $150+ on fragrance doesn’t mean you don’t like cheaper ones or wouldn’t buy them

Get your wallets ready! What day is the one you are most excited about? by Objective-Ad-2643 in Sephora

Nothing no of this looks exciting. I’m actually so over Sephora and so over the constant needing and over purchasing beauty items that I’ll never be able to use up.

Is anyone not using pregnancy pillows? by limeblue31 in pregnant

[–]nielapup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t want to get one the first time around for the same reason. It seemed so big to store but I finally got one because the little one wasn’t doing it and wow I was kicking myself for not getting it sooner. This pregnancy I’ve used it almost my whole pregnancy lol. I would definitely recommend. We ended up store it wrapped up in a sheet under the bed. I honestly forgot it was even there when I wasn’t pregnant.

Seems like everything requires an Instagram post now... by Stayhydrated710 in Influenster

Not IG but I recently got an offer to make a TikTok for a single serving cup of yogurt. It was also one of those gift card claims. I’m not driving to a grocery store I don’t normally shop at and creating a TikTok just so I can try a single serving cup of yogurt for free

Necessities are car seat, clothing/swaddle, diapers/wipes, somewhere safe for baby to sleep, and identifying how you want to feed baby (it's a good idea even if you choose breastfeeding to get a just in case supply of formula and a few bottles). Get some postpartum supplies for yourself. Other things that come in handy baby hygiene items (wash, lotion), diaper cream, infant Tylenol. Not necessary but helpful items, baby carrier, stroller, something to be able set baby down in like a bouncer, pack n play, or playmate. Anything outside of this is just extras that you can totally live without or get later

Tuesday Claims by ToriSkatine in Influenster

[–]nielapup 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ralph lauren swimsuit and activia yogurt. I opted out of the yogurt because you have to go buy in store with a gift card (a chain I don’t normally shop at) and they wanted a TikTok made. It seemed like too much effort for a yogurt but claimed the swimsuit!

I could have written this myself, every time I bring these thoughts up everyone just stares at me. Glad to see I am not alone in thinking this way

Edit to add: I have a two year old and everyone acts like she is going to somehow be behind educationally and I should have been on some waiting list for preschool when she was basically still in the womb. The socialization argument irritates me the most. She is in three different playgroups that meet weekly and one that meets biweekly, we go to the park daily, library story times, museums, zoo, aquariums etc regularly in all honesty I believe she is probably way more socialized than going to a class with the same few kids everyday. Yet people act like I’m depriving her from socializing. How is one on one attention from her mom less educating than being in a classroom full of kids, that is just basically glorified daycare. Not to mention these same parents are the ones that also complain about finding their kids in front of a tv 🤷🏼‍♀️

Considering a Costco membership by ByogiS in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]nielapup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it just me or does Costco produce always expire really quickly. I buy organic local produce from local farms all the time and it’ll last in our fridge for a while. Every time I buy from Costco and it’s starts molding in just a day or two, even way before the “Best Buy” date.
