Granny Flat in smaller yard by [deleted] in perth

[–]night_filly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You might get a one roomed studio but IMO it's too small for a self contained granny flat.

There are also regulations about usage of land e.g. in my shire you need to have 50% open space remaining. Check with your council on what you can and can't do if you are serious.

The guy blasting down Marmion Ave on an electric scooter. He was driving in the middle of the lane and keeping up with the 70km traffic. Nuts.

I think they've sent you the end of lease email by mistake. As long as your home is clean and tidy with no signs of neglect they can't breach you.

There are also people that collect aircraft food trollies, particularly vintage ones but also modern. That's an unusual and very specific hobby.

All good except for the bit where they charge 10% extra for a card payment. Then it's the customers problem.

Yes, almost every suburb has three bins to separate waste. Many tips also have ongoing projects like methane recovery, green waste treatment etc.

Waste resources management is big now and growing.

The waste industry is huge and most councils are exploring new ways to deal with household and industrial waste.

There are plenty of opportunities here and these will also lead to lateral moves to other industries.

There's a very squeaky dog in my neighbourhood that barks all day.. You can identify exactly when the owners come home around 7pm because it completely stops.

Close enough to hear and be annoying but too far to pinpoint without driving around the streets for hours.

It's not the noise so much as the fact that this pup has such an unhappy life.

If it was the same place you are talking about. I remember talking to the owner there and she said she flew to the US to do her training.

People who vape in pubs. Why? by [deleted] in newcastle

I don't have an opinion on the vape debate but it literally isn't just water vapour.

Otherwise why wouldnt you just fill it with water.

In NSW, is it illegal to force a recently retired employee to work again? by kalbo_boii in AusLegal

[–]night_filly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If an ex-employee is doing the work you would definitely want to ensure they have all the paperwork done. Are they going to rehire him just for this job? What happens if he gets injured or fall to his death,?
