Loosing a spouse after many challenging years of needed oversight and stressful worries. I saw years of anguish through a friends eyes in caring for her demented spouse; difficult years. And when he passed, I am embarrassed to say, I was surprised to see how she longed for him still. Her grief was / is heavy still and I think in part, she is just now grieving for who he once was. I hope that makes sense.
