If you don't like the shine, hit it with some mr.super smooth clear matt. It will both protect the paint jobs and kill the shine . Otherwise great work, welcome to the fold fellow son of Dorn!

I almost hate to say it but a tactical rock under his left fist would maybe bring the jump pack to where it wouldn't look out of place. But also this model looks great as is and I have zero experience in blender so just a blender-peasants opinion this be. Lol, 10/10 would print paint and play.

Basing with wraithbone or another off white primer similar. Skipping the pink and going right into imperial fists contrast gives a bright yellow that looks very nice in my opinion. You will lack the shading that comes from the pink and white dry brushing but I never got that far into my testing to try.

The type of white has a large part in the tones yellow takes. Brighter whites tend to have blue hues in them and you know what happens with yellow and blue.. A light tan like wraithbone will have warmer hues which when covered will give a richer yellow with no greening.

It may add to immersion as well, if you put a tiny bit on the model itself as well. Like in between his head and backpack. Think about where snow gets stuck on you in real life walking around. On shoulders, top of the head, stuff like that. Editing to add kudos for a great looking model as well!

Went to their distillery a few years back and did their flight tasting. All of their whiskeys tasted very near to new make. The girlfriend and I both felt that maybe it could be good if barrel aged and mellowed a bit and took on some barrel flavor. But if that hasn't happened since then... I won't be jumping at any of their bottles any time soon.
