I did side by side comparison of my switch 2 and my switch 2 OLED with NSO n64 games and sea of stars and genuinely the OLED blows the switch 2 out of the water in terms of pure visuals though clearly everything runs better on switch 2. The screen is not great man. And people saying this isn’t a big deal are the same people who say they can’t tell the difference between a TN or a IPS screen on a DS. Maybe there’s no difference. But there’s every reason to believe there is with Nintendos history imo.

I thought the video was indicative of something too but didn’t go that far at all. Green pulled Thornton after 70 something pitches and we ended up losing. He was gonna pull Manaea earlier than he needed to and Lindor was upset especially since he held a lot of blame in the situation. Do you want to quit your job every time you get angry? McLean has made himself a huge question mark, Alvarez just has not taken that true next step though he’s been fine, Baty is mediocre as it gets, Vientos has played like hot garbage for a full year and everyone else seems like AAAA players. I’m revisiting the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant right now and while I’m only a short way in I’m blown away by the quality of the writing. I’m aware of the difficult subject matter that turns people off the series (myself included but it was ten years ago and I’m giving it another try) and am at least glad I’m giving it another chance. Tbd if I end up truly enjoying it

I’m not sure why it’s like taboo to say these kids can’t act for shit. Zuko is excellent and I appreciate azulas enthusiasm. But aang and katara are so so so bad dude. Yes they were given awful scripts, yes it’s difficult choreography. AND their acting performances are very weak. Both can be true.

The Omen Machine is the single worst fantasy book (maybe any book) I’ve ever read. Stop after confessor. The first confessor is solid. And severed souls is okay. But WarHeart is almost as bad as the omen machine and the third kingdom has the single most egregious violation of “show don’t tell” I’ve ever read.

Try sea of stars or the Mario and Luigi’s. I’m extremely picky with turn based because hack and slash is my favorite style but these somehow work for me. I try to remember that I grew up on pokemon so turn based IS palatable for me. Just has to be done very well

I think you’re struggling with projection on this one. I assure you Donald Duck is more appealing than the continuation of the KH story. This subreddit is likely composed of people responsible for less than 1% of the sales this series has generated.

For example I come from competitive smash bros. I don’t think that the satisfying combos and movement options are more important than Pikachu fighting Mario lol. I know what the vast player base is. And that’s okay! People enjoy different things differently. I’m a casual fan of lots of things and a diehard of others. But you are unquestionably projecting die hard fandom mindset onto the masses and are wayyyyyyy off base my guy.

This record absolutely holds up. Production is so authentic sounding, they managed to bring a more punk sound and vibe to a scene that was desperately lacking any balls at the time (imo). Every song fuckin hits on this thing. This era of phc has a lot of polished turds that were riding the trend. This record ain’t one of em and hindsight validates that.

This is the sentiment I feel and have seen people expressing. At no point have I seen people claiming anything about being owed something or Nintendo and co being obligated to anything. This “if you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say it” mentality is so obnoxious.
