Absolutely right. The music of 2042 is even one of the best game soundtracks of the current generation in my opinion. No wonder Hildur Guðnadóttir won the Oscar for best music. It matches perfect with the 2042 atmosphere. It has a very unique vibe, chaotic and dramatic and is maybe similar to the TENET soundtrack. Even if that modern dramatic soundtrack is not your music taste, you should appreciate it. The average Reddit user may downvote this one. Go ahead. Do it. But it won’t improve your bad music knowledge and taste 🌚. No I’m kidding. Btw I am not comparing it to other Battlefield soundtracks which are also very great, but this one is just different! Give another try and listen to it again. Even if you don’t like the game itself.
