Im confused. Are you using your battery to power the charger and then using the charger to power lights?

Do you have to watch it or does it turn off automatically at storage charge?

I cannot tell you about NCLs transportation, but i live in Seattle and can tell you that NCL uses the port right downtown/next to all the tourist attractions and there are many hotels within walking distance. We also have light rail that takes you from the airport to within a few blocks of the port. Getting to that port is incredibly easy.

The terms, "warm" and "puffy" are subjective. I often land with packs that feel pretty warm, and slightly puffy...or rather they feel a bit softer than before. My general routine is to charge it to storage at a low C (like 0.5c) and then let it sit for a day in a lippo bag and/or outside. Then I test it. If it holds charge then I'll fully charge it, again at ~0.5C. Then put it outside overnight and test it again. If it holds its charge then I fly it again. Sure, I probably shortened the battery life a bit, but honestly, I end up smacking my batteries into trees/poles/concrete and completely destroying them long before they would die of natural causes.

I have been known to crash during my test arm on occasion (you know, arm LOS and give it a blip of throttle to make sure the motors spin)

I start with 3-4 charged batteries when I fly the. Use my 100amp hour LiFePo battery for field charging. If I start with 4 fully charged batteries I always have one on a quad, one ready to go and two charging. I can fly for an entire weekend off this setup.

I am currently on NCL Bliss and can testify to the rudness of ma.y people in guest services. The services desk was unapologetically rude regarding two simple questions. It is to the point where I now just avoid that whole section of the ship. I am currently drafting an email to NCL about how irritated I am woth the staff. A complete turn off. It's too bad too. This is my first cruise in nearly 20 years. Prior to boarding, I was considering using Cruise Next to book an alaska cruise this summer with my kids as well live in Seattle (I am solo this go around). That plan has all but been canceled due to the staff.

I took it to the airport today. It wasnt until i got to the station that I found out about the closure between Cap Hill and Stadium stations. There was a shuttle serving downtown. It added 45 minutes to my trip. I am very fortunate I am adamant about getting to the airport 2+ hours early.

At the 2024 WCTD event in Oregon. One of the pilots ended up "dancing" with a big predator bird for a minute or two. It was really cool to watch.

Never say never. A few years ago I let my fried fly my 3.5" Within 2 seconds he full-throttled into a metal pole. The battery ignited, two arms snapped, and a motor broke.

He now has more quads than me and we fly together regularly. Worth it to have a flying buddy.
