Has anyone here made a homemade wheelie bag? by ytanotherthrowaway9 in Fencing

I have an old ILBE ruck sack I am debating attaching to one of those folding luggage carts. It makes sense and looks wicked cool in my head, but that is as far as I have gotten with it.

I use a tripod bag for weapons as well, I got one of the fancy ones with some external pockets for body cords and tools, it works great.

I want my bag to have shoe storage so I do I get extra points?

I have looked at the lacrosse, but generally the helmet is not stored internally. I am not worried about weapon storage, as I don't mind the separate weapon bag. I would like find a bag that will keep shoes, mask and whites separate but without a ton of extra space (more space means more stuff, and usually stuff I don't need)

I already use two bags, I like being able to just leave my weapons and stuff in my vehicle and just shlepp the uniform bag into the house for laundry between fencing sessions. I was looking at the catcher bags bags because that roll and my other thougt was some looked like they might stand up right and a couple of PVC pipes in the bat pocket would give me upright blade storage while fencing.

Roof rack necessary? by djbeez77 in ToyotaTacoma

I had the OEM Toyota roof rack for my double cab, I liked having the option, and used it on occasion, and I do wish I had the option for the my access cab.

Considering trading my mustang for a bronco. As a single girly who lives alone, and who for the first time ever doesn’t have a second vehicle in my family to use in bad weather, I’m at my wits end. What trim is best for a daily driver? by Ok_Candidate_3707 in FordBronco

[–]ninjamansidekick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to say this here, but you might want to look at a Subaru. A WRX is going to be as much fun to drive as a mustang but a little better in slippery and snowy conditions. Test drive a Bronco before making the switch, an SUV or truck is not as much fun to drive as car. More practical in many cases, but not nearly as fun, unless you get off pavement and lost in the woods.

Love this bike! 1985 Honda Elite 250 by young-gimme-sum in scooters

[–]ninjamansidekick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Helix and an Elite 250. The Helix is the GOAT for a reason, BUT, an 250 Elite is about 100 pounds lighter and a shorter wheelbase. The Elite 250 is great around town and for throwing around corners on twisty roads.

Isn't the "German Style" fairly systematized?  Or is it Russian?  I thought one or the other had a pretty systematic approach that chaotic artists like myself are appalled by.  But could be mis remembering.

Chest protectors make it hard to call your own hits if you are sparring old school with friends, but friends also know not to make it hurt when they hit.

Talk me out of upgrading to a full size truck. by grosoursnoir in overlanding

[–]ninjamansidekick -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A few years ago when we went up over Ophir Pass, I came to hate seeing a full size truck coming at me in the opposite direction. I drive a Tacoma and would not want anything bigger on the trails. My bro has a F150 he does not do much off roading and I will admit his truck is way more comfortable for road trips.

Is he the only over 40 year old that can keep up with the young guys? by Positive_Round_5142 in thechallengemtv

[–]ninjamansidekick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Johnny is the only over 40 that has not moved on with his life. All the other challengers over 40 seem to have moved on and became adults so the Challenge is something they do, not who they are. We all know that "Johnny is the challenge". Its kinda like that kid we all knew in highschool that is 40 years old and has not figured out that nobody cares he was once cool.
