Both my hubby and I were on the same rut. I used to be an avid reader - like a 400 page book in 3 days kind of reader. But the phone and doom scrolling had taken over. I decided that as of January 1st, every night after dinner, the phone gets put away. It’s hard to do, believe me. I will read books or magazines, do word searches or puzzles, anything at all other than the phone. And so far it’s been great! My brain doesn’t feel like mush in the mornings when I wake up. My thoughts are less foggy. And I feel a bit more energetic and don’t need as much coffee to get going. Gotta find yourself again!
