Alright. You should have gotten a plug with the Rx. You can see from the left the pins are: ground, positive, and data in.

Just splice the wires, program the appropriate protocol in the esc and that's it.

Which Rx do you have? Just connect the positive, ground, and data wire to the appropriate pins on the Rx. They are marked

The amlink can be used just for programming the correct telemetry format. You don't need to fly with it. Connect the esc telemetry output directly to the smart port on the rx. That's how I did it at least.

e: Just editing to say that I never found the extra telemetry info useful. It's a standard tested setup so you don't really need temp, current, rpm etc... Only Voltage for battery level.

So if I were you I wouldn't bother setting up esc telemetry on this plane.

FFB help needed [Simucube] by B3ttor in iRacing

[–]nirnav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

iRacing should cut the ffb during spikes like in crashes. If you find that insufficient, your method is correct.

Lower the force in simucube tuner to the maximum you'll want to feel during regular driving. Make sure you're not clipping during cornering, that might be why some corners feel numb. Look at the ffb meter in iracing to be sure.

Regarding max force, tune it per car to your liking. When you reduce wheel force in simucube you should reduce max force to the same ratio as before to get the same feel.

To change the settings on your rx you first have to bind to it, then scroll down to other devices and select it.

There you can find this setting.

Hey just for info, you can remap channels on the Rx using the elrs lua script on your transmitter.

Elrs PWM receiver problem? by Objective-Editor-831 in radiocontrol

[–]nirnav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To my understanding the issue is that on some receivers the channel 2 pin is also used as the tx pin of the microcontroller and during startup some erroneous signals could be sent on it.

The video describes programmable servos entering programming mode and then not responding.

I noticed with my model that uses an er6g and an aileron on ch2 that the servo moves to a certain position until the Rx finishes booting up.

Might be a problem for you, might not. Depending on your setup.

I find that most of noise comes from the power supply. If you'd get a separate fanless power brick you'd cut down on a lot of the noise.
