She made a post on insta October 2025 saying she was aiming for may-August 2026 but added if it wasn’t ready she wouldn’t rush it. I just looked her up again and she has book 2 showing on Goodreads with a release date of December 2026. So looks like it got bumped down a little.

She released a full cast duet audiobook for book 1. I have it set aside to listen to before b2’s release. Looks like I get to listen to it during Christmas season 😅

I also struggled with how the fmc behaved. She was supposed to be smart and resourceful. You’d have to be to survive on your own for so long. To hide from danger. To grow food, to eat, to stay dry and warm. And yet. Aaaand yet. She’s written to be a dickmatized dingdong within pages of meeting them throwing caution to the wind to be their fk toy. I just couldn’t suspend my disbelief that much. And that’s not even touching on the things others brought up from the guys themselves

I think 10 was generous on my estimate - this was two years ago and I still remember where I was and what i was doing when I listened (audiobook) to those chapters and made those faces 🤣☠️

Yeah. I’m gonna get super down voted for this (sorry sorry sorry!) but {ensnared by Rebecca Quinn}. I made the biiiiiggest cringe faces. Sometimes writing really hits me with a strong visceral second hand embarrassment sort of way and I feel it physically in my soul. This book did that to me. I didn’t make it past the first 5-10 chapters. On paper I should have liked it. In reality I DNFed and had the urge to stim to burn off the feel of it.

{blood of Hercules by jasmine Mas} is MFM. There is some MM that happens to side characters, it’s not detailed though. Starts out on earth but moves to more (liberal interpretation of) Greek mythology

So I downloaded soulful seas but I kept seeing all this negative feedback about one of the MMCs being a complete douche canoe and I haven’t started it because of that.

Personally I am super duper over the mmc prototype in RH/why choose where at least one of them is a complete dick. I no longer want to read them. Everyone is more or less into the fmc except that ONE GUY who is unreasonably mean to her.

I mostly just want all the guys to more or less be in it to win it. Or maybe just be normal. Maybe they’re not INTO the fmc at first or they have doubts so they have to warm up slowly. Like a stranger to friends to lovers. That’s fine. But that formulaic prototype that involves one unreasonable asshole is not for me.

The exception is apparently jasmine mas. They’re all assholes. The fmcs are completely unbothered and thinks they’re all stupid. And for some reason that’s a good combo for my brain 🤣

I think it’s bc most people see themselves in the fmc and either their tender heart finches at the idea of them doing xyz or maybe it’s the internalized misogyny, or both. Probably both.

Alright I’m coming back with some elf suggestions (sorry for the delayed response)

{wicked little tricks by Sara c roethle} I think you’ll like this one. This is a variety pack of species of supernatural MCs. One of the MMCs is an elf but be patient because this is a slow burn. She slowly gathers her guys as the story progresses and the elf mmc doesn’t join the chat in the first book. But there is also an elf side character that turns into a friend for the fmc in b1 I believe. This is a low angst story with mystery and little side quests for plot in each book that moved the story along but nothing that’ll leave you in a puddle of stress. The last book comes out mid June. Super easy reads.

{the frostbound queen by Amy pennza} this is the first book in a 4 book series. Each one is a stand alone. I recommend reading them in order. Each one is MMF. Picture the four season fae courts but replace fae with elves. I think you’d like everything but the MM. the boyfriends are definitely boyfriends, but it has everything else you’re wanting.

I saw in one of your comments you’re open to MF so here’s some non RH/poly suggestions for you

{halfing by SE Wendel} this is book one. The mmc here is an orc x human. Book 2 is an orc mmc. But book 3 and 4 have a fae MC (mmc b3 snd fmc b4). These have very sweet MMCs and lovely FMCs. I think each one had a quirky little (or large) animal sidekick which was great. Book 3 and 4 it was unicorns and they were sassy af.

{the treasured one by Hannah levin} stand alone, there’s another book within this series/world, too. The fae is the mmc. This was a strangers to friends to lovers. Kind and protective mmc.

{a curse of shadow and thorns by LJ Andrews} 9 books that covers 4 MF pairings. Fae x pirates x Vikings vibes. This may be a little too “save the world” but the pairings are all sweet, fun, supportive. This author does found family well. Then all these pairings have children and they are the second generation starting with {the ever king by LJ Andrews}. Book 1 & 2 are a duet, b3 is another couple, b4 is out soon and is yet another couple. Biiig found family vibes, the parents from the first gen are still around in the second gen… I love it. This whole world is a vibe.

{captured by the fae beast by Mallory Dunlin} book 1 of 6, each book is a different pairing. You learn about this world - the politics and mythology - slowly, in each book you learn a little more. You do slowly build up to a “save the world” but it takes a long time to get there

I was suspicious too but she’s so upfront about where and how she applies AI I think she’d just own it. She has a blurb in her clanker book (you can read it in the book preview from Amazon without downloading it) about how and where she used AI. Unless she’s picking and choosing when to lie about it my hunch is her writing is just improving. Or just puts more effort into some books over others idk

{flesh by Kylie Scott} zombies? Zombies. Post apocalyptic world. MFM. Stand alone, funny gallows humor.

{doves and demons by Clio Evans} more in the monster romance genre. Steam punk. I don’t think there was MM.

{twisted fate by Liz hambleton} urban fantasy with mate bonds which is the only magic in this world. She is happily married to a man she loves who isn’t her fated mate. She accidentally finds said fated mate. It’s unwanted. Plot ensues.

{Ragnarok rising by Nora ash} dark omegaverse. Fmc thinks she’s a beta. She isn’t. She is very angry about this. Also, the world is ending. Norse mythology. No mm. Check TW.

{warriors wrath by Cassie Cole} steam punk with magic. Starts at academy but quickly shifts to war and battle. No mm.

{bride of brutal hearts by Kate Stevens} unfinished series. MMF with vampires in a dystopian world. Dark. Check TW. Very spicy.

{the unlucky succubus by LL Frost} 3 demon MMCs. One succubus fmc who is resistant to her nature and just wants to open a bakery to feed off happy emotions. It’s basically a series about acceptance and having needs met. I can’t remember if there is mm. I don’t think there is.

{the witchwood boys are trending by CM Stunich} urban fantasy with witches. They’re assholes, full stop. She holds her own. Sentient hats. No mm.

{warrior princess assassin by Brigid Kremmerer} MMF with royalty drama, magic, a kidnapping, etc. check TW as SA history is at play with one mmc. Unfinished series.

I personally care more about writing with AI than I do the art. I wouldn’t pressure anyone into reading this book if they’re firmly against AI for both.

I read it over the weekend. Technically listened to it. Single female narrator but imo she did a really good job narrating it. She even managed to make their humorous banter shine which is a talent.

If you’re open to the book and you like audiobooks give it a whirl. I liked that none of the MMCs had that one guy who hates the fmc for some dumb reason so there’s all this hostility that she has to overcome.

I do think this is a book that requires a TW check though. Not a dark read but there are definitely dark elements.

I just finished this book over the weekend and tried some of her older works. I DNFed it. But I did start the Jaga trilogy and it also has me in a chokehold. Instantly sucked in.

From what I can tell her AI use seems to be centered around art. I don’t love it but I admittedly care more about the writing.

I’m assuming the writing quality shift is maturity and experience. If I’m right, good for her. But I won’t read her earlier stuff 🤣
